The National Weather Service has announced a winter storm warning for the Tehachapi region from noon today through 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
Some areas might receive between four and 12 inches of snow.
The snow level is expected to fall to 4,500 feet this afternoon and 3,000 feet later this evening.
Travel on State Route 58 could become difficult or even impossible in some stretches as the snow level falls.
As of 3:20 p.m. today, State Route 58 had no reported road closures.
Shortly before 1 p.m., the California Highway Patrol announced Tehachapi Willow Springs Road was closed between Highline and Cameron roads.
