The Tehachapi News presents the News@Noon for Jan. 15, 2013:
The Latest News — The Tehachapi Planning Commission last night gave the green light for a new Dollar General Market to be built on Tucker Road north of Cherry Lane (next to the Dollar Tree store) and for a new motel to be built in the Capital Hlls area north of Highway 58 near the Mill Street exit. A number of people objected to placement of the motel so near the airport and an appeal is expected. More detailed stories about both of these projects will be published on our website soon and in next week's Tehachapi News.
