wow xcite you and followers are ruining our country. your blatant disregard for our laws is sickening. I see the tables turning as more ans more citizen's wake up to what is happening to our country.. We will Reach a point where we will demand that illegal immigration stops and the laws governing immigration will be carried out.

Joty Its really too bad that you hate anyone.  Sorry for you.  As for as you paying for anyone, REALLY how many of your dollars out of YOUR taxes do you think pays for anyone?  You probably get a tax return rather than pay for anything.  Get real and eat and enjoy your cheap illegal immigrant services.  And you should really try to stop hating its just hurting you.

You don't need to be sorry for me xcite, really. As far as hating, you can't or won't get it through your thick skull the word ILLEGAL. I don't care how many people from whatever country come to this country as long as they do it by the book and don't drain the system. You just refuse to grasp that concept.

You keep repeating yourself about eating or enjoying illegal services. Just what services are you referring to? What do you enjoy?

Not that it is any of your business, no I don't get a tax return. It's been over 20 years since I've seen anything back. So I guess most of the taxes I pay are paying for someone else to get the health care I can't afford. You made a comment that you sit on more land and wealth than any of us...but I won't get into the hypocrisy there!

Happy Thanksgiving.

ahhh, just got off work.....I see xcite is still ignoring the word "illegal".  Hell I can't even remember what the original topic was.  I'm just glad to be off work.  It's was the day from HELL!!!!  Anyway....I guess we are ordering pizza, unfortunately I like veggie pizza so I guess I should be thankful to all of those who picked the veggies for my pizza.  I'd appreciate it if they were legal veggies I was eating.  Maybe I'll plan on a garden in the spring.

I was going to stay out of this, but xcite your math about tax returns is wrong.  No matter if someone gets a tax refund.  For every dollar of refund $4 has been spent.  The word is illegal.  No hate involved.  Just illegal.  Check out the cost to the taxpayer on my blog.  You haven't come back with any comments or facts to prove your position.

Olivia - joke for the day:  "I don't mind coming to work, but that 8 hour wait to go home is a b**ch!"  LOL

I understand that getting a return does not mean you haven't payed taxes.  Its just the fact that if all "illegals" went away you would still pay the same tax and the government would still waste it.  Everyone acts like their personal money goes to "illegal" immigrant problems, what was the personal cost to you? do you know? How do these people affect you personally on your daily life?  What have they done to you?

Joty since you ask the services I am referring to are; every time i eat at a restaurant, every time I stay in a hotel, every time I go to my home that was built this year by many "illegal" workers, every time I go to the store to buy produce and other Items, every time I am thankful that people are fighting a war for us (yes many are "illegal")  I enjoy all these services.  And rather than biting the hand that feeds I would like to see some type of sensible program.   If your main arguemnt is "illegal means illegal" then what if overnight the government made them legal workers would that make you happy?  Is it not so much that you want a legal work system as you want them out of here, if so why is that?  Why is it that you feel one ethnic group of people have anymore right over this land than another?

Our taxes might remain the same but then by logic the deficit would be lower and my kids and grandkids wouldn't have to pay that debt.  How do illegals affect my life.  The hard working average laborer benefits my life.  This could also be done by people who are here legally.  What have they done to me?  They have brought crime, corruption, and gang violence here through their kids.  I have to be more careful where I go in the evening, I have to be more careful when I drive, I have to secure my home, no more leaving the doors unlocked, even in the daytime.

Explain to me why it is that the Latino culture makes up 35% of our population, yet is responsible for 85% of motor vehicle accidents and occupies 56% of our prison space?  The closer to the boarder the more these statistics change.  This is harm the illegals have brought to my life.

And, by the way, if illegals built your home, you are guilty of exploiting them.  Do you know how often large home builders "neglect" to pay their illegals knowing that the illegals are too intimidated to report the offense?  I have seen this happen.  I have seen hispanic people ripped off by hispanics who work in the mortgage industry.  In my observation the hispanics are guilty of exploiting their own people many more times than the whites.

So I would ask you, why do you tolerate exploitation of your own people?

The reason why so many people of color overwhelmingly occupy prisons is due to a mindset like yours a racist mind set which translates into laws.  If race has anything to do with crime then can you explain to me what happened in Oildale?  This is a white neighborhood with more crime and drugs than any area of Bakersfield.  If race has anything to do with it wouldn't this neighborhood be a wonderful place?

Deficit going down how would you expect that to happen when we fund wars that our children will pay for forever with huge taxes and no social benefit.  So your saying that crime, corruption and gang violence did not exist here before illegals, get real.  The mafia existed before illegals, the KKK existed, anywhere where poor people have been so have gangs.  Wow i must have slept right thru the crime free America before illegals came.  You are using arguments that you have no real experience in.  You should never use any service I listed on previous post, But until then every time you shop you will know your supporting it.

Tolerate the exploitation of my own people? that is why i am speaking out against this.  I hired a legal white contractor (he was great) who hired his crews not me, and most live in a house built the same way.   The men who built my house were not exploited in any way they were very happy to do the job and they did it without complaining or threat of lawsuit like so many American workers do.  I spoke with many of them and told them not to worry that most Americans don't feel hate towards them and that i appreciate them building my home.  You listed so many costs of illegals on your other post why don't you list the benefits? Will you not at least agree that you pay many times less for many things with illegals working here?

I guess I must have just grew up naive believing that one day our country would get past racism, i was naive that the American Dream was for all who came not just one race but for all.  I guess my Grandparents and parents were naive telling me how great this country was and that it welcomed all who come to seek a better life and work hard to contribute to society.  I guess your right that the America I was told to believe in was dead or never really existed at least not for my kind.

Racism? You think this has something to do with racism?  If a bunch of white Irish illegal immigrants came to America and sponged off welfare, working under the table collecting paychecks and welfare. Taking jobs that legal American's should have the right to, I'd be up in arms over that also.  Why do you feel you need to pull the race card out.  It's a comfy little feeling to say Oh, poor me, I'm a Mexican and people are against me.  Don't take it so personal.  I blame the employers of these people, who by the way are probably white, they are as much of the problem as the illegal IMMIGRANTS.  Not just Mexicans, any illegal who is here in our prison system, our welfare system, our school system(expecting us to teach them English when it should be the parent's job), turning our hospitals into free clinics.  I also have a problem with lazy legal white men who refuse to go out and get any job they can get to help provide for their family.  As being a person of the caucasion race, it's embarrassing to me that there are so many white men who would rather sit their a** at home than to help provide for their family.  And it's just as embarrassing that their are so many white men in our prison system, our welfare system and sending their kids to our public schools lacking any kind of discipline that should have been taught in the home.  I think illegal immigrants should be deported.  I think white men that go in and out of prison, should stay in prison.  I think any white man capable of working should be forced off of welfare and into any kind of job.

All I am saying is quit believing everything you read or see on fox news or Lou dobbs.  Examine what the PERSONAL cost is to you and just try to be a loving human being of your fellow man.  In your daily coming and going I would bet that an illegal doesn't bother you one bit.  Can you not understand that our Government likes us all tangled up in race fighting and injustice so we are worried about getting more than the other.  This way we will never see past the fact that they are ripping us off with tax and cooperate globalization.

Believe me I'm not crying poor me this country has blessed me and my family beyond my wildest dreams.  This is for so many people about race, my hats off to you if you don't skew your view due to that, but the fact is that so many false statistics are out from people for no other reason just hate other people.

You have to understand something Olivia, I have lived through the dream of America.  Me an "anchor baby" grew and thrived here.  My grandparents became naturalized citizens the correct way and after that my Grandmother was deported to Mexico in a packing house raid.  Deported even as an American citizen.  This topic upsets me.  Most people that complain about "illegals" do so without ever giving one thought as to how much work these people do for all of us.  We all exists on this planet together no one is independent from anothers actions or lives without the hard work of others.  Why can people not see this?

Bottom line is they are illegal, There are people all over the world that are suffering, do we also allow them to come to our country. NO. I told myself that I would not comment on this post because the people that are for illegal immigration have no respect for our immigration laws.Talking to them is like talking to a wall. In fact you would probably get more out of the wall. All the augments that they have really don't mater to me because the are supporting breaking of the law. Of course they will say the laws are racist and that we are mean people for wanting to have the laws enforced.  They will use the line that these are poor hard working good people that just want to feed their family's and give to give their kids a better life. But what they leave out is that they are breaking the law to do it. I don't have all the answers but i want our laws enforced. What i find funny is Mexico has  very stricked immigration laws that they enforce. Figure that one out.

Olivia is right this has nothing to do with racism and perhaps you should listen to Lou Dobbs and Fox and not so much the leftist media.  Funny you should bring up Oildale that has a reputation for skinheads and intolerance.  You just hit the nail on the head and that is ignorance.  Ignorant whites are just a disturbing as ignorance in any other culture.  Your argument still doesn't explain the statistics.  Ignorance does.  Education is the key.  I have spent much time in Mexico and Central America.  I learned the language as a courtesy to the people there.  Those I spoke with might like to visit America, but they did not want to live here.  Why do you think that is?  Because the people I spoke with had decent lives in small towns with tourist income.  The people coming into the states come from the poorest villages and the most uneducated classes of their society.  Do I blame them for wanting a better life?  NO.  I want our laws to be enforced here.  I do NOT want 4 million undocumented aliens wandering our land in this day and age.

You keep hammering on the subject that we don't appreciate food, clothes, etc. handed to us by the sweat of the brow of the illegals.  I know for a fact that my home was not built by illegals because my contractor did not hire them.  My fruits and vegetables are bought at the farmers' market when in season and when I buy them at the store they have lables like Equador, Costa Rica and Nicaragua on them.  Clothing is mostly imported from India and China.  Oh yeah, my car's engine was assembled in Mexico.  If I had any reason to believe that illegals were working in the restaurants I frequent, I would be the first to call ICE, but then these are mainly family owned places and I know for a fact that they don't hire illegals.  No I don't see the GREAT positive impact of illegals in my life that you keep harping about.

I do however see the HUGE potential for illegals to be exploited and I see it coming from their own race.  Regardless, illegal is illegal and if that be Mexican, Arab, Persian, Nicaraguan, or Canadian, they need to be rounded up and tossed out of this country.  At this point I am not even amiable to an amnesty program and arguments like yours calling me a racist aren't going to make me more amiable.  But when you don't have any other arguments the last one is always the race card isn't it?  Oh, by the way, I am part Comanche and part Kiowa, so I guess I have more of a claim in living here than you do, according to your logic.
