What the Heck Happened?

This is why I stopped coming on this darn blog!!!!!  I was chatting away with a few different people, not being mean, or vulgar or cussing or anything.  The blog was "The depot and my relationship to Stan Be.....".  Now it is gone.  The things I said.  I mean I know it veered off to "catching up" with an old friend, but why did it disappear?  Does anyone know or have an idea?

That's the 3rd or 4th blog to get deleted lately..................I don't know if the TN or the person posting the blogs are to blame........The TN has a new editor and he doesn't comment on the blogs like the old one would. I remember the editor coming on here several times warning us to keep it civil or just to answer a question that one of us would ask. Anyway it's good to see you back on the blog colitas.

Yes very nice to see you back Colitas...I read your comment on the other post and I will deffinatly take you up on your offer... I don't have alot of people to talk too, most of my friend's are busy with their own lives and don't have alot of time.

Hey Colitas nice to see you back!  I spent some time away from here too, probably for some of the same reasons, but it looks like things are becoming a little more civil again.  Whew!  I was wondering the same thing about those deleted blogs, there were some nice things being said and now they're gone.  I too wondered if it was the blog owners who deleted them, or the paper.  I believe the paper is shorthanded, maybe they don't have as much time to moderate now.  Dunno.

Hey Colitas! Welcome back!

Now that you mention it, I do see where stuff has been deleted. I didn't post in any of those blogs, so it took awhile to notice it.

Small town politics strikes again....

IMO/just guessing:  most likely, the person who originated his/her blog probably deleted it w/o telling anyone.

Slightly off topic, I've been making an effort to remember to make my text larger, but when I view it on my iPhone it looks microscopic compared to others! How does it look to you PC users? BTW, this comment was written on the iPhone so it may look different from my previous comments.

The text from the iPhone looks okay... it's not totally microscopic. I think it's the default. I like the text size and font you normally use. Good size, nice easy to read font.

How do I change my default? I kept looking to try to figure out how, but am apparently not that clever. I just keep changing it to Arial Small everytime, because I think that's a pretty easy font and size for most people to read... easy on the eyes. It's funny though, because when I'm typing in it, the font size looks ginormous, but when it's posted it looks pretty normal.

My blog about "Local News" was deleted by the TN. I was told in an e-mail that it contained personal information. I am sure the news got 100 phone calls from stan and the gang. Oh well, the truth will be out soon.

Riceme, I'm not sure if it's possible to set a default for the text format, at least I don't see any way to do it.

Wow...censorship at its finest. Why delete the entire blog? Why not just edit out any personal info?

Size does matter

Regarding GregL's question:  how to change the font size on an iPhone, I am sure that Sparks would have the answer, she is a self-proclaimed computer nerd (somebody has to be, LOL).  You are all more clever than I am; I don't have an iPhone, nor iPod, but I do have an answering machine, ha-ha.

Because that would look too much like censorship. It's invisible to some degree to delete the whole thing. (Under the black background, it says "censorship".... that's what it would look like. People would go ape shit. I know I would.

I'll repeat what was deleted and that was STAN BECKHAM body language makes him look like a guilty man trying to hide something. The video links that were deleted said all there was to say. Only a guilty man with something to hide would hide behind a screen door! A Innocent  man wouldn't walk past a news reporter when he had a chance to stop and tell the whole world the truth.........But then again the truth would hurt.........................................BAWK .........................BAWK..................

Chick - ken bawk bawk bawk...... chick - ken.... chick-ken ... bawk bawk

As I told Mister I Am Not Stan Beckham, Only Here To Make Him Look A Little Bit Like Jesus (and which he did not take kindly to), the truth always wins out. Sometimes it takes a while for her to come back around... but she always wins out in the end. And, it really sucks and feels sh*tty at the time, but sometimes you have to stand up and admit that it screwed up. It feels terrible at the time, but you end up feeling better for having told the truth.

Truth wins today.

They also tend to remove blogs they consider "personal attacks" so... beware all you attackers! :) Oh, and gube, they don't have a new editor, they have a new publisher, though I believe he may be filling in a bit while the editor is out.
