JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES 1975 END OF THE WORLD
Armageddon-ain't-a-coming,soooo-arm-a-getten-outta-here

I remember where i was when i heard that President John Kennedy was assassinated. With the same vivid recall i also remember exactly where i was in 1967 at age 10 when i heard the Watchtower (Jehovah's Witnesses) announce the end of the world was coming in 1975.

nonjw.jpgYoung Jehovah's Witness men were being sent to prison for refusing to serve in the Vietnam war and i would just miss my destiny by a few months. All i had to do was trust and serve Jehovah God and the Watchtower organization with all my heart and i "would stay alive till 75".

Little did i know the catastrophic cascade of events that were to befall me when in the fall of 1970 my first symptoms of devastating ulcerative colitis was to appear.Ulcerative colitis like crohn's disease is IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease).

Little was known about the pathology back then and most of it was wrong.I was told that it was caused by stress and i attributed my dysfunctional difficult life as a young Jehovah's Witness as the source.

The origin of this thinking was that stomach ulcers were caused by stress induced stimulation of hydrochloric acid which ate holes in the mucosa wall. Now we know that stomach ulcers are actually caused by a little bacterium bug called H.pylori and stress has little to do with it.Think about this, there are millions of people everywhere with life's of stressed induced hardships and they DON'T get ulcers.

The worst thing you an tell a patient who is already stressed out is that their illness is caused my stress and put them on a self imposed guilt trip for it.

Now we know that it's almost certainly an auto-immune disorder like rheumatoid arthritis and stress, strength or defects of character have little bearing on the course of the disease. It's an idiopathic disorder which is a big doctor word meaning;'it comes and goes when it wants to and no one knows what causes it'.

I do know this for certain, because of the Watchtower organization's promise of a 'new world' in 1975 my disease was woefully mismanaged.I neglected my health care believing in the bogus false promise that 'any day' i would be in the 'new system' and Jehovah God would cure me forever.
Perverts.jpg

1975 came and went and the Watchtower has now denied LIED ever making that end of the world prediction.

The disease was to continue to ravage me for another 23 years until my bowel finally gave out and i had to have a total proctocolectomy with an ileostomy appliance (colostomy bag)
Ulcerative colitis because it is confined only to the large intestine can be cured with this surgery, remember from high school anatomy class the large bowel is a storage hold and not essential for life so it can be taken out you just have to wear a bag.Unfortunately poor folks with crohn's disease which can involve the entire digestive tract don't usually have this straightforward option.

It is now well into the 21st century and i have a life now that is second to none. The devout are growing old and dying in the Jehovah's Witnesses just like everyone else and i now have had to come to terms with my own eventual mortality.

 zzzzzzzzzz.jpg

If you have IBD don't be intimidated please seek out a crohn's and colitis or ostomy support group and if there is none in your area go online, same goes if your still a Jehovah's Witness. There is much better treatment today and there is a good life after surgery.

Hey,ostomates like me can never get colon cancer because we don't have a colon anymore,or for that matter we don't have any of the other 'problems' associated with that part of the anatomy.

There is also a good life after the Watchtower.Cheers,Danny Haszard Watchtower Jehovah's Witness Whistleblower

The end Armageddon was expected to come on or about the month of October 1975 as the watchtower prophets say big Bible events occur in October.   99% of Jehovah's Witnesses worldwide were holding their breath. When nothing happened the Watchtower urban legend rumor mill damage control went into high output and spun an addendum on "how long did it take for Adam to name the animals"??   For several years later we had to endure flak and eat crow door to door because EVERYBODY KNEW ABOUT 1975.   The first assembly after the 'big' event the speaker (from Bethel no less) gets up to speak and bellows out jokingly; "ARMAGEDDON AIN'T A COMING SO I'M A GETTING OUTTA HERE" that relieved the tension that had built up.   See,Danny Haszard was there     1975 was EVERYTHING to EVERY JW

http://www.jehovahs-witness... click here   NEW ARRANGEMENT circa 1970 on all bible studies now limited to maximum time of 6 months  bee baptized in 6 months or bee gone study had to be dropped to move on for those who would need to be saved before 75   This was a blow to our many pioneers in the Bridgewater Massachusetts Kingdom Hall as many depended on their 'old faithful' longtime studies to get their hours in.Territory maps were had to come by as they were being rationed out on account of some being done every two weeks.   The Vietnam war was raging many brothers were doing time in prison I would be 18 in 1975 and would not have to worry about the draft, wonder if I would finish out High school senior year.Parents expect me to drop out at legal age of 16 to go pioneering myself. Ahhhh it will all be over in 5 years!

I was at Brooklyn Bethel headquarters in 1975 and heard the then vice-president Fred Franz tout 1975 as a real date for the end of the world. It was at the graduation of the Gilead Missionary class, and he said, "We don't know now whether it will bew weeks or months," referring to Jehovah's Day of killing all Watchtower unbelievers. Most newer Witnesses are ignorant of this, only one of many false prophecies churned out by the spin doctors of Brooklyn.

"You’ll never get sick. You will never grow old. And you will never die."

Although the above words come from the movie "Cocoon," they could have come from the Watchtower Society because this is the same thing they have been proclaiming for decades as part of "the Creator’s promise of a peaceful and secure new world that is about to replace the present wicked lawless system of things." This very appealing prospect attracts many people to begin to study the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses. It then sustains them as they eagerly wait for the fulfillment of this promise.

But during the course of their study they get drawn into an illusionary concept involving the Watchtower organization that gradually takes over their decision-making process and even their conscience without them realizing it. It happens because of a mistake that everyone makes before they decide to become a Jehovah’s Witness.

identifies both the concept and the mistake that causes people to become captives of it. The book also offers suggestions that may help some Jehovah’s Witnesses correct their mistake and teach themselves the truth about their religion.

The “new light on 1975” has me confused.  Why did the organization change the date for the end of the world?  The new date many life-time Jehovah Witnesses who are over 35 years old now look to is “last generation of 1914”. Unfortunately this date has come and passed as this generation is very old and is rapidly dying off.  The new life extension medication will not be given to Jehovah Witness members; it will be hoarded by the billionaires.

Only with a lot of money can one “cheat death” and only to a small extent. Most Americans (Watchtower members included) can’t even afford decent health care.  1914.  Those in this generation are at the nursing home or being put in the ground.

I oppose discrimination but there have been so many people hurt by this organization I must speak out against it.

I respectfully invite all those that have been hurt by the organization to warn their neighbors and friends.

Danny's experience is one of thousands suffered by those who were lulled by the nonsense put out by the WTS and I was one of them.  They know well how to brainwash an individual and replace the wash with their agenda and it works on those in need of a hope for better circumstances in life for them and those they love.

Unfortunately the reality comes down to giving a persons' will over to the WTS to do as they require under the guise of doing what God expects of a Christian.  The fear of being disfellowshipped (excommunicated), which is far harsher than that practiced by other religions including a loss of your entire JW families and friends for they will fall under the same harsh punishment should they continue association with a disfellowshipped or disassociated individual becomes an excellent tool.

Newer associated JW have no idea of the foundation of this society except that told by the Watchtower Society.  They know nothing about the incredible requirements put to pre 1980 JWs such as no innoculations because they contain blood fractions, miracle wheat, no transplants of organs because that would be cannibalism, the bibles written for the 144,000 annointed.  So very many other bible explanations and requirements that looking back on them now one wonders how they once believed such nonsense.  The ones that escaped with their health, their life and their families are the lucky ones.

It ws this society that once said, and I paraphrase, "if the foundatuion is not good, whatever is built on it is also not good".  I ask those who are JW or studying with them, PLEASE, get on the internet and do some research in opposition to the WTS warning against doing that.  What are they afraid of??

I recently studied with two Jehovah's Witnesses who offered me a free Bible study, and when I asked them about the history of their organization, they referred to their old literature as "JUNK" (twice)! They said they "choose" not to even look at the older literature because "current truth is what is important." The fact that the JWs won't look at everything in their history makes you wonder what they are afraid of finding. If OLD truth is no longer valid, then could NEW truth also be no longer valid someday? If you bought a car that was 8 years old that had been seriously wrecked 3 years after it was manufactured A you had the papers in front of you detailing its entire history, would you say, "Nope, I only care to see what happened with this car over the last year. Whatever happened to it in the past won't change my perception of how reliable it is." Get real! I'd like any Jehovah's Witness ANYWHERE to name ONE prediction (prophecy), past or present, of the Watchtower organization that has come true. Name just one.
A challenge to JWs reading this: Email me via my website and prove to me that you have THE TRUTH today.

I live in the Sacramento, CA area, and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 30 years. I am a personal witness to the great influx of Bible studies and great expectations promised by WTB&TS and it’s representatives in the years leading up to 1975.   Local Elders, Circuit and District Overseers, direct representatives of the Society pointed to 1975 as the beginning of  the Great Tribulation.  We were strongly warned not to get caught up in this “system of things” buying homes or having children.    I remember very well back then, Jehovah’s Witnesses who desired these things during those years  (1970’s) were thought to be "weak".

The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society sought then as it does now to control, advise, manipulate and counsel in almost every important aspect of it’s followers lives.   Little of this information makes it out to the public. Sadly I woke up almost too late.  I’m starting my life over again at 50 years of age.  No retirement, my old “friends” have forgotten my wife and I, and I’ve lost half of my immediate family over Jehovah’s Witnesses  self made rules.
