DannyHaszard - > Undaunted Danny -> Jehovah's Witnesses BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS
Jehovah's Witnesses BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS

The real deal on why Jehovah's Witnesses refuse blood transfusions.

Jehovah's Witnesses have a non negotiable doctrine of their belief system to reject blood products.

The origin of this dogma comes from their founding father Joseph Rutherford in the early 20th century. The consumption (eating) of blood was strictly forbidden under old testament kosher law.

NEW YORK WATCHTOWER CULT

The Watchtower leadership of Jehovah's Witnesses saw fit to extend this prohibition over to their belief system.

They thought that the "end of the world" was coming back then (ca.1940) so there would never be much causality.

It is well into the 21st century, with the "end of the world" on hold, the Watchtower leaders have blood on their hands, with the deaths of innocent minor children.

Many children have died since rejecting life saving blood transfusions. Why do they maintain adherence to this archaic creed at all cost?

Answer:The man-made Watchtower cult is run by lawyers who know they would be sued out of existence for wrongful death suits,if they dared to outright repeal the bogus no blood ruling now.

UPDATE:The absurdity of the Watchtower rulings now allow any of the COMPONENTS of blood to be transfused, but not whole blood, and yet people are dying and lives and families are being ruined over a few old men who are always changing their minds on this matter.

(Jehovah's Witnesses do use many products that are derived from blood banks (so called blood 'fractions') but they themselves won't donate a drop)

Sparks, you are right on as far as your comments about religion. People have the right to choose their own path. However, I do believe in the gift of life through blood and organ donation. I guess this is the nurse in me speaking. I do love the fact that donation is a voluntary gift, to be accepted or declined at will, and not mandated by the government.

I don't see where there is a problem with Jehovah's Witnesses and our stand on blood transfusions.

We are obedient to Jehovah God and we are safer.

When we are united in our stand on blood, medicine has moved forward from the time and ways of the rest of
the people in their use of "Stone Knives and Bear Skins".  Jehovah by his command and the united brotherhood has kept us safe, from the problems that many are going through.

Some claim that many devout and obedient Jehovah's Witnesses have died from refusing blood.  Is that a problem?
As if Christians dying is a new thing?   Faithful servants of Jehovah God have died from their obedience to Jehovah from the time of Abel.  Daniel 3 tells of 3 Hebrews who would die rather than bowing to the image of the Babylonian ruler.  The Bible speaks of many other occasions.

Acts 12:1,2 "Herod the king applied his hands to mistreating some of those of the congregation. 2 He did away with James the brother of John by the sword"

Oh.  James died because he decided to be a Christian and follow Christ.  Why is no one on here crying over that?

The reason is that people have such a shallow view of Christianity, that is pathetic.  People in general, people other than Jehovah's Witnesses, are not interested in Christianity and in God's kingdom.  As one person above stated that he does not like us bothering him at dinner time.  What a shallow thing to say.  If you were our brother in the faith you would not be considering it a bother.    That really shows how shallow humans in their relationships are today.

What is also pathetic is the constant association of the Watchtower with Jehovah's Witnesses.  The Watchtower is the name of a magazine and a printing company used by Jehovah's Witnessess.  They are not one the same.  Give us the credit for choosing obedience and thus choosing life.
