From The Loop today...
Well, while y'all were working hard all day and debating world politics, I was out doing what I do best on one of my RARE days off, having fun! Some pix from around The Loop.

I love that spot...have you ever walked up that little trail, right past the loop? If you do, there is some rocks to the north of the top of the trail. Kind of rough terrain. But there are some grinding stones that are in these big flat rocks. It is so beautiful up there. I have been there a million times. Believe me that place is VERY special to me.

Jewels, are you talking about the area above the tunnel on the Tehachapi side of the loop, not the one the train crosses over? I might try to head up there today before I head back home.

no right past the loop, before you make the next turn on the road, there is a little pull out to the right. you will see a little path, head up that path and at the top of the path you will head out towards the big rocks...its over there
