You have heard their shrill voices of absolute defiance from Virginia, Ohio, Florida, California, Pennsylvania, and Oregon.  The hardest of the hard core of Senator Clinton's supporters, which includes uneducated white men, people of color and mostly women, will cast their vote in November for Senator John McCain, if somehow she doesn't magically become the Democratic party's official nominee.  Odd!?

The philosophy, values, policies, and party platform between Senators Clinton and McCain are nearly the polar opposite.  It's like someone leaving the very liberal Unitarian-Universalist Church because they didn't like the new pastor, and then becoming a member of the very conservative Southern Baptist Church.  It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to those of us who think deeply about the election.

So what might the real motive be of these Clinton supporters?  I believe that these irrational, illogical, emotional fans are supporting Senator Clinton for one reason only:  they are completely stricken with the personality of the candidate.  They have knowingly or unknowingly fallen into personality worship.  The politics of Senator Clinton becomes second place in these supporters hearts and minds.

You will generally not find intellectual discernment or even deep political analysis among this crowd.  An up and coming dictator would love these folks!  What makes these people really scary is not their absence of party loyalty, but that they even cast a vote for anything as important as the Office of the Presidency of the United States.
