Man's Best Friend Returns Home!

I brought my best friend back home tonight. My Boston Terrier, Oreo, has been living with an elderly woman for the past year. She had to be moved to an assisted living center this weekend. I met up with her son at the intersection of 99 and 166. I don't know who was happier. He feels right at home but is camera shy. I got Oreo when he was just 5 weeks old after his mother passed away. I would take him with me in the mall and into Church on Sunday's to bottle feed him. He is now 10 years old.

Why was Oreo w/ the Lady?

Wow...great story Job...  gives me goosebumps.   I'm glad you have Oreo back.   Seems like the lady who had him took good care of him too.

I had planned an extended US road trip, I learned this lady was lonely and was looking for a Boston and thought this could help us both at the time.

When I was a small lad we had a Boston and it was a nervous dog.....The thing would shake so bad that it's feet would viberate on the wood floors.....Daisy was her name.....nice post Job.

Glad he is home...good to have a pal! Maybe he can go to the small area of the dog park when it is opened to meet new friends!

Oh, I get it. That's super! Is Oreo going to visit the lady in the home?

No, she lives way up in Roseville. She called me this afternoon and we had a nice talk. She thanked me loaning him to her and thanked her for taking good care of him.

It's so amusing, Oreo is the same old dog. He still has the same habits as before. It's like he never left.

That is so cool! Around 4 mo.s ago I had to put my 17yr old Aussie down, my parrot still calls her name. Today when he did it , I called her name out as well. Zeus, our other dog, stood up & ran to the door, thinking Sadie was home, oohhhh. He really is still thinking of her. ( me too, of course ). I'm happy for you.
