Apple announced today that it has developed a breast implant that can store and play music. The Tit will cost $499 or $599 depending on cup size. This has been hailed as a major breakthrough because women are always complaining about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them.

Does anyone else think it is the height of hyprocrisy for the Christian-based publisher to go ahead with the release of Lynn Spears parenting book? (Oh wait, they said it's a "memoir" not a "how-to"). This after her 16 year old daughter announces she's pregnant (but yes, let's keep birth control and sex education out of schools). And why hasn't her adult boyfriend been arrested for statutory rape? Money talkin' again? And why hasn't Nickelodeon fired the child?

As much as I love to read, this is one book that won't be gracing the shelves of my home library!

A couple of nights ago my husband and I watched the movie A History of Violence. A gentle soft spoken cafe owner is actually a member of the Philly mob, a hitman who changed his ways, name and got a new life which included a wife and family. He was loving and law abiding. When his past finally caught up to him, his wife and older son freaked out.

I started thinking about this. I really don't know what I'd do. Now, a few weeks ago in a blog part of the discussion was about staying or leaving a cheating husband. So my question here is, what do you think you would you do if you discovered your husband's hidden past as a violent killer? Though he is a good and loving husband/father who abhors violence (now), would you stay or leave?

What do you think would make you angrier when all was revealed, the lie by omission or the murders 20 years in his past?

Ok...brain fart, stupidy or the inherent goodness of my soul?

I did some Christmas shopping yesterday at Big K...the first thing I threw into my cart (the child seat) was the new Harry Potter DVD. As I strolled through the store, I put my purse on top of the DVD. I filled my cart then went out to the uncrowded garden center to check out. Finished and bagged up, I wished the clerk a Merry Christmas and walked toward the door. The alarm went off screaming "thief thief!" I turned back to the clerk and she waved me on, saying "you're ok, it's been doing that all morning." Before I could rationally think, I said "oh no, I missed a DVD here under my purse." Got back in line and paid for it (and, when I got home got in trouble with my hubby cuz I paid $20 bucks for it). When I got to my car I was pissed at myself and wanted to knock the angel off my shoulder - she was obviously the one who spoke up. KMart has ripped me off so many times with  mispricing - in fact - they overcharged me for Dove chocolate that very morning, and refunds never show up on my bank statements.

I do believe in Karma, and that evil comes back to you x3...so, what do ya'll think?

Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.

"In honor of this holy season" Saint Peter said,"You must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven."

The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it on. "It represents a candle", he said.

"You may pass through the pearly gates" Saint Peter said.

The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and said, "They're bells."

Saint Peter said "You may pass through the pearly gates".

The third man started searching desperately through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of women's panties.

St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, "And just what do those symbolize?"

The man replied, "These are Carols."

Don't know the source of this official drought information, but:

It's so dry in Georgia that
the Baptists are starting to baptize by sprinkling;
the Methodists are using wet-wipes,
the Presbyterians are giving out rain-checks, and
the Catholics are praying for the wine to turn back into water.
