According to Forbes Magazine Tehachapi is not in the top 40 cities for singles. In fact, it's not even in the top 100.

So what do singles do in a town that caters to the married? Bar hop. But what do single professionals do who prefer not to do the bar scene, have tried on line dating, and now what to try something different?

Well, many are trying Speed Dating. It's a fun way to meet as a lot of interesting people, in a no pressure environment.

An event on Feb 01, 2008 , at the Holiday Inn in Bakersfield, was maxed out with folks aged over thirty. Amazing.
