Which Wytch Is Witch?
I am normally a lurker. IOW, I read everyone elses' blogs and comments, but never comment myself...but I felt I had to respond to the 'gut feeling' I had regarding Pagwytch = Pagan Witch. Yes, she is Wicca, and she is not following the creed of 'do no harm'. She is harming all of you by not being honest. I do not think she is a criminal or professional scammer, but she does, as one other blogger stated, sit on a pity pot. She begs on her myspace as well, for money. Her name and address for all to see. She lives in a 2 bedroom 2 bath house. Why does she need something that large if it is just her? How can she afford additional electricity? How does she afford a computer and internet service? She does have a son, but does he live with her? She claims to be clean and sober for 6 years. Judging by her writing - I do have to wonder, however. Her 'disabilites' are Lupus and Fibromyalgia - both treatable and controllable. I know many people with both who do not collect SSI but work full time jobs - one even in a wheelchair, but I digress. Another blogger commented on the fact that in less than three months, she had asked for help 3 times. I went to read those blogs - they were no longer available. Why did she delete them? Why did she delete the comment about not displaying her address? Did she check out the free water cooler? (That's all I use, humidity or not. Seems as though she would rather have 'new'.) Where is her family? Even if they do not live in Tehachapi, why can't they send money? Why is she begging here and on myspace? I notice she doesn't blog any other time. Most of you seem to be wonderfully goodhearted people. Please, help her if you feel she is legitimate, but ask questions!! Check out her myspace page. Very enlightening. MarryMeet2u, thank you so much for being concerned about us bloggers and telling us what you know about Pagwytch. I truly appreciate it. I just called her and she is going to settle for the cooler. I told her that if she is going to ask for help in the future she needs to have compassion for those that are trying to help her for we work hard for our money and deserve honesty. Being greedy is not having compassion. She is willing to settle for the water cooler and I for one am glad she will be getting a water cooler. Again, thanks so much for the info, I have been known to be too giving for my own good. But, again I would have probably went out and bought Pag a cooler or at least donated $20.00 to the cause simply because it is so flipping hot here lately and I suppose I am a bit spoiled when it comes to the being able to control the climate in my house. Thanks again posted by

Not to be out of line...if pagwytch, doesn't decide on the swamp cooler, & it works, I would be grateful to stand in line for it, if it's available. I don't get blisters, but I am very susceptible to heat stroke, regardless of that, it's just darn HOT! posted by

lol States, why the "omg"? Her religion doesn't have anything to do with it. She does need to be a little more forthcoming though. I hope the water cooler works for her. posted by

Sushisoo, as far as I know water drains down the pads, which the water circulates through, thus cooling the air it blows out. NICE! posted by

My sister has a swamp cooler attached to her vent system for her heating (the cooler is on her roof) it keeps her house pretty cool. My hubby and I have thought about doing that, but I think we'll wait out this summer and try to get A/C next year. Ahhhhh. I hope I survive lol it was 90 degrees in my house yesterday. Hey, it could be worse right..............I could be 8 months pregnant instead of 4! lol Wiccans get a bad rap. They are commonly very misunderstood. I have a friend that is Wicca and she is a great person. Even though we have different beliefs I don't hold that against her. I hope the cooler works out for pagwytch to. Try to stay cool all, I know I will be! ;) posted by

Snitch on the Witch. What's so bad about this person asking for stuff? Because its a DIFFERENT WAY of getting it thats why. "She's different and she MUST BE STOPPED!" (spoken in a frumppy British accent). If it ain't illegal LEAVE HER ALONE. posted by

Do all ya all have myspace pages?? That would be a riot! Here I thought everyone had switvched to Facebook because it was more "grownup"! Yes, I'm quite aware this has nothing to do with the original blog!! posted by

I was shamed into creating a myspace account by my supposedly "grown-up" friends. It was a couple of years ago (or a few??), and they were talking about it, and I was like, "What the HELL is My Space??" They all got a good kick out of that and asked if I'd been living under a rock. And yes, in fact, I had been living under a self-imposed rock. I didn't have cable or internet service (because I didn't want either), and I'd been living at the top of a mountain by myself for quite some time (it really shouldn't have surprised anyone that I had no clue what myspace was!). So, eventually they convinced me that it was a Must-Do, and I admit that it's entertaining, and a fun way to keep up on what my friends are doing, but I'm not sold on the "Must-Do" aspect of the description. To me, there are not many things in life that I simply must do... I must breathe oxygen, I must intake water, must eat some stuff, must not get impaled by a long, pointy object... you get the idea. posted by

It's so much easier to keep in touch with some people through Myspace. And it can be fun sometimes, unless you end up with annoying myspace drama people... in which case I don't mind hitting the "delete friend" button. posted by

I'm glad to finally see some other people that are opening thier eyes about this whole situation. As for the previous blogs asking for help, they may be deleted from here but you can google the cached pages and they are there to see. What bothered me was that she said she had to get rid of a cat her niece dropped off because it did not get along with her dog. I love dogs! Absolutely LOVE them! Do I have one? Nope, because they cost money in vet bills and food and toys etc. I can't afford a dog so I don't have one. There was a time I didn;t even have the internet because it was an additional bill that wasn't on the priority list. Now, how broke can you really be? Had you cancelled your internet 3 months ago you'd have a bright new shiny A/C already. As for the myspace page, great find LOL Maybe you should sell that 1890's piano? Maybe sell your camera you use to post all your myspace pictures?

What peaceful man calls "snitching", I call "sharing important information". What's wrong with finding about a person before you dig into your wallet to hand over your hard earned cash? I appreciate those who shared the information.. now we know who she is and what she's about (or at least as much as she will allow us to know). Now if you decide to help.. you do it with your eyes open. |
