Out to dinner in tehachapi

Ever have one of those days where you just aren't in the mood for cooking??

When you do, out of all the places to eat in Tehachapi where is your favourite place to eat and what would you order?

My wife and I just had dinner at Jake's Steakhouse. Yummmmmmmy, she had the shrimp dinner and I enjoyed the 8 oz. prime rib dinner offered on the early bird menu.  Jake's is rather pricey but the atmosphere, service and quality make it worth every cent.
For breakfast, our favorite place is Henry's on Tucker next to the car wash.  Again, friendly atmosphere, good food and superior service with a smile.

I usually will order the chicken curry at Thai Palms. It seems like the only take out I order. I mean it's the only take out I order for dinner. Lunch is another story.

Smokey Primo burgers has a good Philly cheesesteak .  (Smokey I love your picture) Que pasa is also one of my favorites, I get the Aroze con pollo. Has anyone tried the new Mediterranian place across from the Hitching post?

Well, she and my other niece along with some friends took their kids for a playdate to McD. Her 5 year old daughter came out running and gagging, lol. My niece followed her back into the playtube where she discovered that some other child (we hope it was a child), had taken a large DUMP right in the middle of the tube. I've always wondered if the poor employee who had to clean it up washed his/her hands before going back to work....

OMG that is the most disgusting thing! If that happened to me you can bet 100% I would have been on the phone with the corporate office and eating free BigMacs for a long, long time. That is just nasty, ugh!

Now the play tube..................when I stop feeling sick I'll be very interested to know what was in that play tube LOL

Ok, if I can type through this comment without gagging...

I went through the drive thru one day while in a hurry, I ordered a hamburger and fries. I was eating while driving home. I stopped at the Summit Chevron to get gas and was munching on my fries while waiting. I happened to glance down into the box - I'd eaten about half of them and saw something red on the side of the box. I said oh please be catsup. Well, it wasn't. It was a bloody gob of snot. I immediately began gagging and ended up puking into the trashcan by the pump (which was no easy feat).

No, I didn't go back and raise a fuss. But I have not eaten at any McD's since. Now shall I tell you what my neice found in the play tube at her McD's in Simi Valley? LOL!!!!!

We like to go to either Kelcy's or Las Palmas...At Kelcy's my hubbie gets the Chicken Fried Steak and I'll split the French Dip with a child. At Las Palmas I always get the Carne Asada Taco Dinner with whole beans (i think its #24 on the menu) my hubbie always get the steak fajitas which are yummy too.

Tonight we are ordering pizza. A veggie for the girls and a Meatsa pizza for the Men. Normally we go to Taco Samich or Primos. At Taco Samich it's all about the burritos. At Primos i love the pastrami burger with Extra pastrami. Olivia loves the zucchini french Fry's and the onion rings.

We go where my husband wants to go- he's the one that's picky.  And he tends to make plans before he asks me.  So we end up all over the place.  There's only one restaurant we haven't been to.
