Doctors/Dentist recommendations

I am relatively new to tehachapi and haven't found a doctor or dentist yet for me or my husband.

I remember seeing a blog awhile ago with the same subject but haven't been able to find it again.

If you have a good doctor/dentist or can recommend where to go (or not to go) I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Has anyone ever been to Dr. Heer, i am anxious to see what you thought of him??

LOL, Joty.   Just the thoughts of anyone peeing in Wheaties makes me laugh.  Guess I did get a little irritated after  oohchild remarked that she was hesitant to use Kaiser doctors.  You find good/bad doctors in private practice as well as HMOs, the odds are about the same and you have to keep trying until you find one that you like.   As for waiting for appointments at Kaiser, that happens.   It also happens in private practice.  You may not be able to see your 'private' doctor and may have to take the one on call or whoever is in the ER.

Anyway, good luck in your doctor/dentist search, Smokey.

'Scuse me again... I just realized that I made a mistake in saying 'oohchild' made the remark about Kaiser.  It was 'awsmom8'.    Now I'm going to have a bowl of Wheaties - LOL

Hey Jewels...Dr Heer???, let's just say...I'm trying to figure out who I'm suppose to report him to.  If anyone knows where, please tell me.  I think I still have a piece of drill bit he left in my tooth after a root canal.  Needless to say....well the crowns...they will be coming from someone else.  I won't be back to see the guy.  Can you say RETIREMENT!!!!

Olivia -I was referring to Dr. Heer's office in my comment. I just looked him up and there are no complaints on file-amazing and scary but then I never made a complaint either.

Yes, look again Gillfish...he has received a citation for violating laws regarding dental practice.  Thanks Ker72 for the info.

My friend booked an appt. with him but walked out of his office--said it was dirty.
