Farmers Market
All I know about the Farmers Market is that it runs every Thursday from 4-7pm. I have no idea what to expect there as I have never gone. So, my question to you is, have you been to the Farmers Market? Are there any must stop at places? Any I must buy this suggestions? 4 comments from 4 users

Have never been to the Farmer's Market, however, it sounds like a lovely event. However, I do know that the new, local rescue group, S.T.O.P. (Save Tehachapi's Orphaned Pets) will be there, next to Canine Creek's booth, where you can meet and greet alot of nice people, and some furry friends who are looking for a loving, forever home.

We've been to the Farmers Market several times....It's has a very hometown feel. My husband goes to the cheese stand. He loves the cheese that one of the booths have. The man makes it himself. He says its great. We never leave without a container. I go look at all the Jewelery and candles and girlie stuff. It's just a nice place to walk around and browse. Some really great looking veggies too. posted by

Thanks DonMar -- you're right. STOP will have some adoptable pets in the park today. I will also be bringing a medium sized Shepherd mix named Bandit for the Tehachapi Humane Society, plus two stray puppies who need homes... a sweet black Chow baby, and a 4 month old miniature Border Collie mix. If anyone is looking to add a furry friend to the family, please stop by and see us today between 4pm and 7pm at Railroad Park in downtown. posted by

If you only go to get Brats at Kohnen's stand, it is worth the visit to the market. I wish they sold them at their store all the time!
