I would love to go to open mic night again, but I can't keep my boy quiet enough :(

When does the poetry club meet?

I'd like to go, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a sitter. I have many poems that I wrote ages ago. I of course was and still am a total amateur so I'd be a little embarrassed to read them out loud. Most of them aren't real serious.......mostly about friendship, love, and not knowing where you fit in life. LOL YES, I was in high school when I wrote most of them!  

Definitely a no-go for me, I'm working all week in L.A.  I might be available for the following Wednesday.

Oh No, I know on 2 occasions when we were out side, us bloggers were asked to kindly keep it down. Now , some of us are considering reading?  Holly Hart will have her hands full; now every one knows it's mic nite, it will be a bit different, on our end, no? I know I would love to read something, luckily for everyone I'm not a poet. Sparks, those sound like good emotions, that came out while you were reading, strong people probably don't get those often. I brought my camera the other week, Sparks took a few pictures, I was going to have  a few printed, if you wanted them. Any objections on this?

I'll be there.  Maybe get there a little early to sample some of their chili and cornbread for dinner.  What time are you guys gettting there?

I was planning on being there this Wends., and I think Romantic Poet is going also to read more of his wonderful poems ( minus the F word's). Looking forward to seeing everyone again and maybe some new faces?? 

Oh and Madkow your son was not loud or causing any problems when he was there.. Don't worry about that he did good...  

Well, towards the end he was really starting to act up (which is why I took off so quickly).  He's used to wandering all over and doing mostly whatever he wants, so he gets very frustrated when he can't.   And I'd feel so bad if he started throwing a fit in the middle of someone's performance!  Maybe when he's a little older and can tolerate sitting quietly for a while.

Awsmom...  I will be there around 5:30 - 6:00...   Are you going to read?

Storilori   as for the pictures, it will probably  be best if you send them to the people who were actually there first...so they can decide after they see them whether they want them shown in public or not.   Ummm...  you can send them to me if nobody else minds that was there?   I will make copies of them for everyone that was there...then they can decide whether they want to post them or not.   Personally, I don't mind you showing my pic unless there is a rip in my pants...  lol    Nah, better send any of the pics you have of me to me first as well... lmfao    Getting them into print and bringing them for us to see might cost you a bit...but yah..cool bring em with ya.

Countygirl..  Mama Hilly Beans is very kid friendly... you don't need a sitter.

Eek, I'm glad Romantic Poet will be there, I didn't get a chance to meet him.   it will be good see you there as well.

Romantic Poet is a really nice guy, very expressive, kind, good listener, and he lets me vent even when I tend to go on and on about things and not make a bit of sense. I believe he will fit in with the rest of us just fine!! 

Oh my gosh, I just looked at the schedule online and saw that Thursday night is game night!  That sounds like a blast!

And if I could, I'd totally go to Monday morning yoga!

I really want to make it this time but I don't do public speaking. I mean, up on stage "public speaking."
