I was at Mama Hilly Beans last night and I met yet another TN blogger. Yaso, what a sweet guy you are, I really enjoyed talking to you. I hope to see you again sometime. Reffup was there with his family. Reffup's daughter did a comedy act about cows.. it was hilarious! She had the whole place cracking up. Good job! Madkow showed up but left before the cow comedy because her adorable little boy was ready to go. lol Awsmom was there with a friend of hers...I sat with them and had my cup of Earl Grey tea. Oh Eek, I ran into Romantic Poet, I found him interesting and we bonded rather quickly last night. What you say about him is very true. He's a wonderful man. BTW, He couldn't help it but use the F word. lol I also ran into Jon Hammond.. OMG, he is a true historian when it comes to Tehachapi, I'm going to go see him talk about the elderly in Tehachapi this evening, should be interesting. He's such a sweet and talented man. I so miss his columns here on the TN site. I asked him why TN wasn't posting his articles anymore. He said he didn't know, that I would have to ask TN. SO, I'm asking... Tehachapi News.. WHY? Why is Jon's column not being ran on this site anymore? All in all it was a fun night and as usual Holly Hart was funny and well...just being herself. 23 comments from 12 users

I REALLY wish I could of been there lastnite, it sounds like everyone had a great time. I will do everything in my power to be there next week! Sparks I am glad you got to meet Romantic Poet lastnite, He is a real sweetheart and a good friend, I just adore him, even with his F words!! lol

Man I'm bummed that we couldn't make it. I was all ready to go but Olivia's prior obligation took longer the we both had hoped it would. We both really enjoy open mic night. Next week I may come by myself and if Olivia gets done with her meeting early then maybe she'll make it to. posted by

Crap...it's hell to get old. I took my shower about 4:40, laid my clothes out and said to myself, "hmmm, I need to rest my eyes for a moment, especially if I'm going to have some after open mic fun with Ms. Lori". I rested my eyes so well they didn't re-open till 8:30. Sigh. Ya'll just wait, you'll understand someday...LOL!!!!! posted by

Whew....good save!!! You almost missed out on my birthday dinner tonight. I was gonna find another date. This is what I want for my birthday....I want to go to the council meeting, have dinner and then coffee and mama hillybeans. Think your up to it. RomanticPoet is a very warm man. I met him last night, I was there, too early to see you guys. I posted on another blog that he was 'warm", truly that was the adj. I came up w/, now that you've met him, I feel better about that. Glad you all had fun! Joty -next time. I'll be @ Hilly Billy's tonight after I get my white nectarines & peaches @ the F.M. Jon Hammond has so many great memories & family About Teh. & loves to share them, I will listen!

I used to have a couple of young elk push the kids swing back and forth--it was hilarious! Everytime their moms went to the salt block they would walk over and start swinging the swings! Sparks--do you have a salt block for them? It really increased the number of visitors. reffup--I saw you a few times and thought--I recognize that man but didn't realize it was you! I would have come of and said hi. Sorry I missed the cow story.

Me warm? hehehe thanks guys. Well, it is easy to be warm with such a great bunch. Hey, we are expanding our writing group so if anyone is interested, let me know. We will be including such things as poetry history, writing technique, et cetera. I know, real yawners for those who aren't interested but we are trying to be tools.
