Ed Begley, Jr comes to Tehachapi to save the sequoias and our forests.
Hey folks, come to Mama Hilly Beans on Monday, July 21 at 6 pm and enjoy some great music by Archie Logsdon(Lost Hills) and mountain dulcimer by Jon Hammond; dinner made from organic, locally grown fare; and a presentation of Sequoia Forest keeper's programs of victories. ED BEGLEY, JR. will also speak about the need to protect the mightiest of the trees and the forest that surrounds them, and SKF President and nationally known activist Martin Litton plans to make an appearance. Suggested Donation: $25.00 each. I have a great passion for sequoias and our beautiful forests. I will certainly be there! 4 comments from 3 users

Sparks, thanks so much for this post! I wasn't able to make it because of work, but Mrs. Greg and a friend went and had a good time. Mrs. Greg won the grand prize of the little trip and special hike through the Sequoias! You know how much I love nature, I can't wait, looking forward to it very much, and getting some good pictures too. Thanks again! posted by

GregL, that was your wife? What a cutie patootie! It looked like she truly was excited about winning the hike, & that she would really enjoy it! Do you get to go w/ her? I didn't know we were supposed to put our name in a basket. ( that's what you get when your late ) So I was sad about that. Especially because everyone got something! I'm an only child, so,blah, blah, I didn't take it very well. LOL! Tom Lynch was teasing me, he got a cool photograph, by the hostess. posted by

Hey thanks Lori, she's pretty darn cute alright, and easily excitable! Yes, we'll be going together on the hike, don't know when though, my work schedule is pretty full right now.
