Today is flag day and the Boy Scout troops of Tehachapi are retiring flags (nearly 400) that have been used and wore out.

Tonight at 6:30 at the Coy Burnett Football Stadium will be the ceremony. All American Patriots invited! There will be helicopters from the fire and sheriff departments and a flyby from a NASA F/A-18 (my dad).

Come and support the local Boy Scout Troops and America!!

School is out now, but...

Will the administration work out the problems that we had this year next year at Tehachapi High School? With a new
principal I think we might run into the same problems we did this year. Our schedules were supposed to be all figured out earlier this time, that is why we picked our classes for next year so early, and given to us before today. That didn't happen, so what will. Will we have to wait for weeks again to get everyone's classes straight?
Second, at the end of last year, they took everyones picture for their ID cards and the Yearbook. This helped a lot at orientation at the beginning of the school year. It made the process go by a lot faster and more efficient. They did not do that this year. We will be taking our pictures during orientation and it will be slowed down. More families are moving here and that only means more students for the school do deal with.
Last year the school was granted money from the state to have counselors who specialize on one-on-one counseling. It was requited by the state for every student before graduation to have this counseling to make sure they are taking the right classes to graduate and go to college. These sessions never really happened and the counselors saw groups of students and their families at one time, not the one-on-one the state gave the money for. The majority of this counseling was done during the junior year or late in the students' sophomore year. A little too late to make sure that you are taking the right classes.
These are things the school needs to work out. Can or will they do it?

This is the video I took during Operation Knob Hill I. The first unofficial Tehachapi Airsoft League's official game. We had two teams of four players each, the USMC Spec-Ops team and the Al-Gebra Terrorist team.

If you are interested in playing airsoft with us, or want to start playing airsoft, or have any other questions contact me here and I will try to answer your question or help you.
