Yeah, whatever, you people suck.  I think drug dealers are low life pieces of chit and I will continue to think that.  Hopefully God forbid one of them don't sell your 12 year old drugs...Because believe me, there is a demand for the crap, and dope dealers don't really care who they sell to.  Jewels, you don't suck, your'e my character witness.  Man I have a headache, I'm bloated, I'm out of sorts, I just asked the dr for an IV of LSD, .... He just looked at me like I was crazy.  I took that as a no?

Bigdog, yes I remember the story, but not the details.  I have the memory of an ant.  Well.... of course unless youv'e done something to irk me, then it seems to stick.  Sorry  : (

Olivia, I wasn't actually responding to your posts directly so please don't take my comment personally. ;)  I was actually responding to a comment on the first page before I realized there were 2 more pages so I was late to the conversation.

In any case, I'm mixed on whether the system is broken.  Ultimately trial verdicts are decided by juries.  Juries even have the ability to disagree with the judge and pronounce someone not guilty -- even if their pronouncement is contrary to the law.  Its called Jury Nullification ([url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... Judges don't like it and you will rarely hear any judge instruct a jury that this option is available.  They typically say "You are here to decide the facts of the case, not interpret the law."  So ultimately if the system is failing I blame jurors who usually look for any excuse to get out of jury duty to begin with, and rarely take the time to truly learn how the courts and juror systems are supposed to work at all.  I don't know why the jury let OJ off the hook, but I'm sure they had their reasons, good or bad.  And thats exactly the reason its THEIR fault.  They are the ones that said "Not Guilty" and it is their responsibility.  Thats why jury duty should not be taken lightly.  Obviously the civil suit against him went the opposite way. ;)

All that said, I'm sure this guy is a criminal of some sort and does some other crimes that may or may not be as heinous as murder.  But he's still innocent until its PROVEN that he's guilty.   The mindset that says because someone is arrested they are probably guilty, or because they ran and hid they must have something to hide is a dangerous one.  That isn't presumption of innocence.  Thats presumption of guilt based on the idea that he was possibly guilty of some other unrelated crime or he "acted" guilty or he had a "bad" history.   The idea is that it is better to let a few criminals get away than put one innocent person in prison and I believe that.  The system isn't perfect by any means, because people are not perfect, but so far its the best one in the world.

I concur.  I feel badly for everyone involved.  It's a very sad situation.  It would just make things worse if we were to pass judgement on somebody and then find out later that they aren't guilty.  I've done some really stupid things in my life.  I would hope people would look past those things and see me for me.

True he is presumed innocent until proven guilty but that is only in eyes of the law and court of law. We the public can believe any way we want. I don't know if he killed her or not but when i read that he has criminal record including a history of drugs and weapons arrest. That he ran and hid to avoid arrest. That it has been reported over and over that he was a drug dealer and that there was a murder warrant out for his arrest and that has been arrested for that murder kind of makes me go hmm.......

If someone sold my 12 year old child drugs, the problem would not be with the person selling the drugs, it would mean my child was LOOKING for drugs. That would make it a problem with my child. Drug dealers do not need to market thier products, they sell and they sell quickly and consistently. I would be more to blame for not teaching my child to make the right decisions than the drug dealer would be to blame for supplying a product.. Do you blame the cashier in a store when an alcoholic buys booze?

You should have asked the doctor why they haven't cured any major diseases in the last...hmmmm.... how long? Oh wait I remember. It's quite simple really, there is no money in the cure, the money is in the medicine.

Canadian doctors are the same drug pushers as the American doctors. Canadians get basic healthcare for free-basic does not include prescription drugs.

smokey (by the way what have you been smoking)~you mean to tell me you wouldnt even be mad at the dealer who sold your 12year old dope??????????? That is just stupid.  12 years old?  So what would you say to your child "Now Honey, I dont care how you got started or who you get this stuff from, I am ready to take full responsibility for this." WHAT THE F????????? Obviously you dont have kids.  There are some things in this world you have no control over.  I was raised in a good family and taught right from wrong, I STILL MADE MY OWN ROAD...AND IT WASNT A GOOD ONE!!!!!!!! If you think for one minute that kids from good families that have been given ALL the opportunities, support and guidance don't fall by the wayside you are either STUPID OR BLIND.  NO I DONT BLAME THE CASHIER WHO SOLD THE ALCOHOL TO AN ADULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont see any elementary school kids at the bar!!!!!! UGH!!!!! NO AWSOM8 I AM NOT SMOKEY.

I THINK SMOKEY SELLS DOPE
