Ah, this was a great blog.....lots of heat! Don't know why now that I didn't respond to PD's assumption that "slick" being put away was such a tragedy. Usually with that lifestyle, the tragedy is because dad is home, out running amok. Finally when he gets locked up does the peace and harmony begin to emerge. That was just always my experience with having a POS ex hubby. My daughter even got involved in this one. She was ticked off. LOL posted by

I agree with Joty and Bigdog on this one.. It doesn't bother me that a dealer who has peddled deadly drugs to the people and children of Tehachapi might get twelve years behind bars. KUDOS KCSD Clean up the mess!!!

?? I said he got what he had coming, didn't I? Where did I "place blame" somewhere other than where it belonged? Can you even TRY to read for content, gube? I merely pointed out that his family has suffered a tragedy - which they have - and I doubt if you would gloat over their misfortune in front of them. At least I hope you wouldn't. posted by

PD Don't you think if slick was with his wife and kids where he was supposed to be , then Michelle would be still be enjoying her kids....place blame where it belongs..... posted by

Given that his own story supports 2nd degree murder, who's complaining? Sounds like he got what was coming to him. But would draw your sick pleasure out of taunting the guy into prison if you were standing next to his kids and wife? Its a tragedy for them as well as Michelle's kids. As for that nasty little charge of do-gooderism, I'll take the do-gooder attitude over yours anytime. The company is better. posted by

Ha-Colitas-I was going to thank you for that warm fuzzy feeling (and on a cold blustery night too!)and then you took the words right out of my mouth regarding the lack of cajones!Yup,I'm with you on this.Had some mutual aquaintances with Slick.Heard quite a bit about him and met him and that didn't improve my opinion.Being worthless would be an upgrade for guys like him.

awsmom8...the problem with that scenario is he has to have cajones first....it doesn't take any to do what he did. posted by

Bigdog, you are right about the tragedy aspect and the items are nothing compared to that, but "leanintotheleft" is right about one of the many infuriating issues with this shooting and I think that it helps to put the picture into even clearer perspective if people understand that Slick more than likely was the origional thief of the items that he was shooting someone over. Not meaning to get back to the drug dealer issue, but it all goes back to how to get money for meth. It's just unfortunate that Slick didn't have the gun backwards when he pulled the trigger.
