i think my main point was to discuss the hospital and i think we have done that. i want to stay in tehacahapi to do all my business including my health care. I was raised in a small town and love small towns. My main concern is that so many elderly people are needing to make continuous trips to bakersfield for heatlh care. They don't feel comfortable making that drive in their 80 and 90's. I won't either i am sure. a new hospital will offer the privacy that this hospital lacks. being in a room with an elderly lady who had no privacy what so ever seems rather  crude to me. I felt bad for the lady and her family. This current facaciltiy is just too small. I don't expect or demand the latest heart dr or specialist. A well educated er doc should be able to address most of your critical needs. I have seen this in action at the rural health care center where we came from., Thanks for the imput from Mr. Hino. I know these things take time and there are many rules to go by. Please do your best to forge ahead with the new facility.

Having just returned from the ER of the Tehachapi Hospital I was alarmed. What has this town being doing since the early 50's when this place was built.?? While the people were great, the facility is just from the dark ages. Forget all the future plans, Get this new place started before we loose all the citizens. Their is a aging population in this town who won't be able to travel to Bakersfield and Lancaster. Is is that the board of directiors or the adminstrator that is holding things up.
