anonnymous ?
So you can't blog using anonymous no more. To bad now some bloggers will have to make up a 2nd or 3rd or maybe a 10th screen name. People used anon for several reasons. Some bloggers feel they need to hide behind anonymous because they worry about repercussions. Others want to tell us inside info and don't want to get caught. Some enjoy stirring the pot. Still others had fun poking fun at someone and getting a reaction out of them. At times as many as 3 or 4 people would be using anonymous as a screen name on a single blog. It was hard to tell 1 anon from the other anon. It got confussing. Often many anonymous's were participating in bullying tactics. people get brave when the hide behind anonymous. Can't wait to see all the new screen names and the funnest part of all this is trying to figure out who's who. So be carefull what you blog because now it just got a little easy er to know who you are.

Hi Shane, Don't leave us! We need you! Where did Sparks and Blaze go anyway?I too, sometimes feel like I am done with the blog, but we always come back, don't we? I just wait for the angry people to leave first. Blogging is a good catharsis and I say stand your ground. Christine~ posted by

Anyway, I too have said I'm done with this blog many times too! But I watch it ebb and flow and when the nasty antagonism dies down, I always come back! posted by

People you act as if blogging has some real world value, as if all the problems of Tehachapi have been and will be solved right here by a bunch of over opinionated people who put way too much importance on their own opinions. Yes opinions everyone has one and the blogging arena although fun is just that simple fun. What difference does it make that the screen name says xcite or anonymous? It seems almost comical that people think that this arena has some social or political importance. I know you will be upset about my OPINION but those most upset are those who think this arena has made them important. catch my next blog under whatever name i like at that time, LOL posted by

True that's my point then why should it matter where the mind draining opinions come from? Some do think this is important.

Anyone who thinks this "arena" has made them important needs a life.(For the record I don't think this applys to anyone on here.) Oh, and here is my opinion about your OPINION......Xcite you obviously feel you are extremely important......important enough to diss peoples opinions, to remind us we are not that important, and let us know that this shouldn't be taken to seriously. Thank you for saving us all. Seriously, this is just a good place to get info out and discuss things now and then. If you get a headache every time you get on here you shouldn't be worrying about what your next screen name will be! posted by

I couldn't agree more. This arena is great for getting information out and in a hurry for a town the size of Tehachapi. Unfortunately I have been pretty busy and have not posted as much as I should have. That will be changing, but I don't expect I'll be out here all of the time. BTW - Shane, is that January 2008 or November 2008??? Looking forward to it. posted by

Well, do I feel important because of this blog? Heck no, but loved, yes. This blog does serve a purpose of friendship, venting and tolerance for other people's feelings and viewpoints. If that is all it does, than it is well-served. I can tell you that several of the discussions here have given me a respect for others and a different way of looking at things besides my own opinions. I learn something here everyday, and for that I am grateful. I do believe that this blog does generate a lot of interest from our local government, as I have seen first hand responses to several issues put into action. I also believe that everyone needs and wants to be heard. How cool is blogging for that purpose alone? posted by
