What happened to anonymous
Has the news finally did away with the choice to post anonymous. I hope that they did. I just noticed that the post anonymous section was gone.    Next I hope they take away the ability to delete a comment.

Why do you need to see and count other people's posts Jim? That's right, END DELETION, END THE ABILITY TO DELETE OTHER PEOPLE'S COMMENTS ON ONE'S OWN BLOG, it should be up to the handlers of this site to decide whether or not the comment is inappropriate and violates the site's rules.

By the way what's the difference between blogging as anonymous  or "Doggone" and having a photo of a dog. Is that not anonymous?

Shane, you are right there is not much difference between the two but at least if people are blogging with a handle (private or not) it is easier to differentiate between bloggers and there is SOME accountability.

I have to agree with countygirl 100%.  That was my opposition to the anonymous posts-to differentiate between bloggers.  There were many cases where a anon had to say that wasn't me and stopped blogging.  I myself had used anonymous once when I had posted a  very personal story.  I was protecting other people as well as myself.  I didn't want people to connect the dots with the other people in my story.  There just needs to be a better system.  I don't know what it is but Shane has a valid point as well.
