BIGDOG ABUSE

I took this picture a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering is this husband abuse. ALL I was doing was being obnoxious and messing with Olivia when she smacked me

My question is ....is it OK for a wife to smack her husband just because he's acting like a child ?

Ha!!!! Thank you Jewels.  You know how obnoxious he is!!!!  I "barely" backhanded him in the cheek and the ring HE bought me scratched his face.  He couldn't wait to grab the camera and take a freaking picture.  OBNOXIOUS!!!

Yeah.....and I'll do it again!

The only safe answer to this question is... Hell yes!  Anyone in any sort of relationship learns this early.  And, to my darling wife if you are reading this, please don't hurt me. :)

Ok....It's 5 am, gotta get ready for work.  I do the little mouse thing to get the computer screen on and guess what happens?  The "Alleged" abuse that Bigdog suffered due to my quick response at being tormented, is now our computer wallpaper.  Thank you for all the support peeps.

Here I am, 5' 3", 115 lbs  ; )  He's 6' tall 300+ (with a little problem being ADD) He's been off work for EVER now with his surgeries.  So this is what I'm thinking.....he sits at home ALL day, while I'm at work thinking up ways to torment me.  I came home the other day.  Worked a 12 hour shift at the front desk, (by myself for 7 hours) I come home to this song that he "can hardly" wait for me to listen to.  David Allen Coe (Cole) whatever, I'm telling BigDog, I don't want to hear this guy.  I'm tired and the guy has obnoxious songs.  So...does he listen to me??? Hell no...he pushes play and I have to endure this song about "Linda Lovelace"  And everytime my son comes in the room, he has to turn it off.  When my son leaves, he turns it back on.  So...I asked him, why would you want your wife to hear this kind of sh*t.  This is a song you should listen to with your friends.  Then he proceeds with some old Black Sabbath.  I don't mind Black Sabbath, I love Ozzy, but not after a 12 hour shift.  I'm wanting to relax.  I come home to relax.  So I grab up my purse, he asks where I'm going, I tell him back to work.

He calls me pretty much daily, at 3:30, ever so gently, asking what time I get off work.  The answer is always the same 5:00. Then... the real reason for him calling pops out of his mouth.....What's for Dinner?  WHAT THE HELL????

You guys saw the picture.  Don't you think a big ol black eye would look good on him?

Man i should have known that all you broads would think that i had that coming. But Greg and Scott man i thought that at least the guys would be on my side. Its obvious you both are married and scared to death of your wives by your comments. Man up !

Yes, I would say that's a perfectly legitimate reason for smacking you, but only if she relishes childish behavior.

Hmmm, guess I'm different. It never crosses my mind to hit my husband. Not even when things got really bad a couple of years ago...

I think I internalize my anger rather than lashing out. It's probably worse for me in the long run, but I just could never hit someone else.

bigdog, I understand why you wanted olivia's attention after a long day without her. But she does have a right to unwind a bit after getting home. Live & learn, huh?

Sorry, bigdog, but I've gotta go with Olivia on this 'cause of the whole "sisterhood" thing and you being,by your own definition"obnoxious and messing with her".Now,if she had come home to dinner being made and she had a chance to relax first,(neck or foot rub?)she might have not given you the negative attention!

I have to agree with oohchild on this, it seems very strange to me, kind of like a jerry springer show, to hit your husband then brag about it, and get support for it from people here,  very interesting group of people here on this blog

I agree with Starbucks1 on this one. Very strange indeed.

oohchild, starbucks1 and smokey - where's your sense of humor? We are an interesting group of bloggers, and we can tell when a subject is serious or in jest.

Olivia - you GO girl!

OMG, you guys can turn anything into a freaking argument.  It's a JOKE!!!!.  This is what actually happened, you know what never mind.  I hit him.....He made me so mad, that I couldn't help but strike the SOB.  If you look closely, there is a small scratch on his nose.  I did that too.  I grabbed him with my fingernails and took a snip of skin of his nose just to see his eyes water!!!  And when he really, really makes me mad, I throw him around the house.  I hate it when he doesn't have my meals prepared at 5 pm everyday, and the way the lumps in the mashed potatoes boy.....that really gets me going.  And after I call him a democratic liberal communist. He cries like a baby in a corner, so I kick him just to shut him up.  And then, I put on my collandar with foil and get on the internet to see if he has posted any evidence of the cruel tactics he endures every evening.

Believe me when I tell you, I KNOW what abuse is.  And you people with no sense of humor and self righteous indignation really, really bore the hell out of me.  So.....What do you think about that.  I'm normally a nice person.  But there are some of you who will argue with a freaking tree if the wind blows just right.  Thank you for allowing me to comment.
