Olivia and I would like to wish you and yours a great 2008. Has anyone been to del taco yet? we just got back and i am here to give you my report. I'll give it a C for effort. It was crowded but overall they did an ok job getting our food out to us. I would have given them a B but they got my order wrong and i had to wait longer for them to get it right. I give the food B- as far as fast food goes. It was tasty and hot although my wife and sons meals were not hot, they where luke warm at best. For cleanliness I give then a C- Trash cans were over flowing and tables were dirty. Overall grade is a C-.
On a side note...I am a sheet metal worker and i can't help but notice exposed duct . The Duct work in the restaurant was clean looking and a good job unlike the eye sore on Green and F street. Thank you Mr Hicks for taking on a job of this magnitude. I am a supporter of the Hospital and urge every one to support your local Hospital. For as long as i have lived here there has always a group here or a group there that complains about the way the Hospital is ran. For the most part i do believe that the majority of Tehachapians support the Hospital and the building of a new Hospital.I have to say that one of my concerns has always been what appeared to be the lack of leadership with the new Hospital project. The appointment of the project manager is what was needed to keep this project moving. Another concern was the lack of information regarding the progress of the project. I attended the TVHD meeting and was impressed with the the information that was given out to the public. Mr Hick did his homework and was prepared. If i could offer some advise it would be to be forth coming with information and to keep us advised of the progress of the project I hope you all have a great Christmas. Olivia and i and the herd of kids are heading out of town to her sister annual Christmas party. It should be fun. We'll be back tonight and celebrate Christmas at home. I like being at home for Christmas. Anyway i just wanted to wish every one in Blog-land a very merry Christmas. I just got his and thought it was funny.

LED ZEPPELIN reunited a couple of days ago. I grow up loving their music, are there any other zeppelin fans out there. Check them out and tell me what you think. Has anyone seen the eye sore on the corner of Green & F streets. The city has allowed some kind of a business on the first floor of a two story building that requires grease duct. the problem is they ran the duct along with a second duct line out of the side and along the building(f street)Then up to the roof.It looks really bad. Both duct lines going to the roof are not strait. The grease duct running along the building does not look like it has the right pitch as per code. If any one Else has seen this please comment.You can't miss it, It looks that bad. With all the money that Tehachapi is sinking into the downtown i would think they would not be happy with this. |
