ColdStone and Starbucks...
YAY for Coldstone! I heard that Coldstone has opened up, from the girls at my salon. I haven't yet gone - but I will by the end of the weekend I'm sure! lol Yet, I'm WAYYYYY more excited for Starbucks to open up, cause I'm a total coffee nut. YUMMY. : ) I'll probably stop by every weekday...so say hi if you guys notice me...don't be shy neighbors! ; ) Oh and BTW...everyone Should chill out on the appearance of the building, just be glad we Have more stuff that's yummy & you guys should gripe less...be grateful we have these nice places, rather than nothing at all..it sure would be a lot more boring without a lot of our stores/shops! Think about that.. 8 comments from 7 users

I think they did a good job making the new building look nice even though it faces inward who cares and maybe they will hire some of our local artists to paint a mural like on they have on other buildings around town.
It sure would be nice if they open a 24-hr fitness with an Olympic size swimming pool so the adults and teens of our community can do laps without the competition of little children splashing. I look forward to patronizing Coldstone and Starbucks so I will need that pool now! I think I might just go today! posted by

I hope people will also try the new MAMA JAVA ( the new coffee kiosk that looks like a caboose east of Starbucks on Tehachapi Blvd.) and at least compare tastes to Starbucks. It will be a locally owned and not a corporation. I'm sure it won't have the Starbucks mystique, but I hope it can compete so we can keep the profits locally. posted by

I'll support the coffee house that gets me my fix fast. Starbucks trains it's employees and has enough people behind the counter to provide that service and the set up is such that they do their magic facing you .... so there is no turning back and forth .... very efficient. And getting a cafe latte grande quad non fat no foam is no big deal.

I give the new guys a try, just like I've tried the other local coffeehouses --- he who provides the best service wins :o)
