Calling all Cooks!
I have been wanting to learn how to cook and I'm wondering if there's anyone here in Tehachapi that would be willing to hold a cooking class? Anyone else interested in learning?

A New Election Year...
Republican or Democrat...Conservative or Liberal. Who will you vote for, and how
will a new presidency change the USA?  These questions keep circulating around in my head.  If I had a way to see into the future, I don't think I would look.
I'm not a democrat, and I'm not a Republican either.  I don't know
what I am but I think I'm registered as an "independent".  (whatever that means.)
We have several presidential candidates this time around and I have every intention of doing my homework before the election.
What does a Republican President mean for our country?  Do the troops Stay in the Middle East to establish a democracy while our democracy goes in the toilet?
What does a Democratic President do while stepping into a war?
Does he send the troops home and Up  security on the U.S.?
I remember the day that the Twin Towers were bombed, I don't think anyone can
ever forget that day.  I was very scared, and I was sitting on the  West Coast!
I saw the terror on the peoples faces as I watched my T.V.
From that moment I realized how stupid I had been to think that we are safe and protected with the help of our government.   It's disturbing to think that anybody can
walk over the boarders into our country and continue to murder, steal, mooch,
and slap us in the face every chance they get.  Our government is ultimately responsible for this; So... who do we vote for?

I am voting for Ron Paul.

He is Republican and he wants us out of the Iraq and has firmly voted against it since the beginning.
He wants to remove the Income tax and replace it with nothing.
He has a proven consistent voting record for the constitution, civil liberties, and freedom.
