Urgent: Found Puppy (Very Young!)
Saturday, 2/9/08 - A lady just brought a black puppy to Canine Creek -- said she found it wandering the streets near City Park. It is all black with a little white on its chest and the tips of all four feet. Looks to be a Lab mix or perhaps an Australian Shepherd mix. Very young... probably no more than 8 to 10 weeks old. The lady could not keep the puppy so we have taken it into the store. If you know who this dog belongs to, please have them call Canine Creek at 822-0307. If the owner cannot be located immediately, the pup will need a foster family until it can be neutered and adopted out. 2 comments from 1 users

UPDATE: The owner of this sweet puppy was never located, so she is available for adoption through Save Tehachapi's Orphaned Pets (STOP). The dog has been named Cleo, and has been spayed, so she's now ready for a new forever home. If you are interested in adopting Cleo, call Leslie at Canine Canyon Ranch at 823-0111.
