Dog Park for Tehachapi

The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District will be holding it's regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 18th starting at 5:30pm.  Item 9G on the agenda is to review and approve fencing for the Meadowbrook Dog Park project.  The public may attend these meetings, so please consider coming to show your support of this much-needed facility.  Canine Creek has been urging the TVRPD to build a fenced dog park for Tehachapi for over three years.  We'd love to see it completed in time for summer.  For more information on the development of the dog park project, visit:  http://www.caninecreek.com/...

Yay!  I love going to dog parks and I'm really looking forward to having one up here!  I try to take my boys to one in Lancaster whenever I'm down there.  It's wonderful to get them around other dogs- especially dogs that are used to socializing.  It's a very relaxing atmosphere and it's fun to watch them all run around with each other.

Thank you canine creek for pushing so hard to make this happen!  My dogs and I are going to love the new park.  This is a much needed addition to our community.
