I Just Need Someone to Love Me
Hi, my name is Maximus. I’m a male Border Collie/Lab mix with one blue and one brown eye. I was named after a gladiator so I act all proud and in charge, but I’m really a very sweet guy. I’m 7 years old, 55 pounds, with short fur, and I’ve had quite a bit of training. I’m housebroken, use a dog door and would probably be best as an only dog or a companion to a more submissive female, as I'm a bit jealous of some other dogs (although I usually do like the girls). I walk well on a leash and can heel on command, and travel well in the car. There is a small puppy here at the rescue that I lie next to and cuddle. Sorry, but I'm just not all that crazy about cats. I live with several other dogs here at my foster mom’s house, and I need more attention. I will be neutered soon and I’ve had my shots. I just want to be with you, lay by your feet and be your friend. Please, please, oh please.... pick me!
