Depot Fire

I hope I get some answers!  Why are there over 3000 hits to the Depot Fire article and only 3 whimpy comments?

Why have we not been given the names of the MEN arsonists (not boys people!!!) who set this fire on June 13th?  These MEN must be connected and protected.  I want to know who the big daddy is who is pulling strings to see to it that we don't know who they are.  I want to know who the mommy is who has probably protected them their entire lives.  Why is the newspaper going along with this?  Why is the police department going along with this?  Who do these people think they are?

I bet after the Fourth of July we get all sorts of names and information about others who do some fireworks in Tehachapi (since all fireworks are illegal!!!).

Do they think given time that we will forget about it?

These MEN in a drunken stupor destroyed the heart and soul of downtown Tehachapi!  These MEN committed a crime and I want to know why steps have not been taken to see to it that justice is served.  Don't tell me that justice won't be served by taking them to court.  You do the crime - you do the time!

Where is everyone is this town?  Where are your voices?  Aren't you outraged?

Cap we know it wasn't boys that started the fire. If you would have read any of the previous blogs on this issue you would know that it was the news who first reported that it was two youths that admitted to having stated the fire. So sorry that those three wimpy comments on the Depot fire report didn't call for a public execution by stoning. The TN locked the comment section not only on that report but all report. I'm sure that if the TN hadn't locked that thread you would have gotten your ''lets hang them em high''

We all are interested in who started the fire and why it is taking so long to charge them. I another news report it was reported that one of the suspects was cooperating with investigators. The only thing that I have heard is that the two are from old time prominent Tehachapi family's.

If you do get answers please post them on here for all to see.....

I have to admit that I'm really bothered by the fact that these guys names haven't been released to. I mean lets just say for one second they didn't burn down the depot......they still were partaking in illegal activities. Why do they have more rights than anyone else? It sure seems like they are being protected  to me. Heck, my brother was involved in an accident a couple years ago. He hit two pedestrians on Golden Hills Blvd.....he was not at fault and they ran his name in the paper at the time without any consent......he was a minor at the time.

The whole series of events has been bizarre, i can't believe it's continuing. It does smell way fishy, I can bet your missing catfish, if it was me who had done it, ( no way) I'd be on " The Rack " in the middle of  downtown!  (I just heard fireworks, Zeus is going nuts. )

Yeah, I just said good night to my husband. They just ran a call for illegal fireworks in BV. I won't even get started....I just don't understand peoples thinking process sometimes.

Countygirl..............Illegal fireworks = fires = work = money.........what are complaining about.  ching ching.

I'd rather have people and their homes safe than all the money in the world..............so would my husband. Besides there are already plenty of fires burning at the moment. We don't need anymore.

Back to the topic...I was wondering from the very beginning why the news reported that juveniles had come forward and then it changed to two men who were long time residents.  It even mentioned that one of the suspects had children and a wife.....And.....what does that have to do with a crime being committed?  Somebody has some pull in this town let me tell you.

I've been here 15 years, can I burn down a historical building and keep my identity hidden?  I'm very curious as to how this story is going unfold or....not.

Gube, I knew you were.........I know you're opinionated, but I don't consider you heartless.  I think it would be almost impossible for him not to be at this point in time.

I know Olivia exactly.....That's what I got out of it to.....one had a family, they were being cooperative, they've lived here for a long time, they feel remorseful, etc. ......yea, so.....they also committed a CRIME!!!

So what!?!?!  THEY BURNED DOWN THE DEPOT!  HANG THEM!!! Better yet put them in the July 4 festival and let all of us throw tomatoes and harrass them and hang them upside down by their balls.  Who cares if they are from a long time family--these are grown men!!!!!  It was arson!

Sorry, I know this is completely off-topic, but gube's first comment up there... I seriously think that's the most consecutive complete sentences I have ever seen him write. It made me think for a few minutes, "gube didn't show up to the meet & greet, he can really write complete sentences, holy crappo, which other multiple personalities could he be??" Then I thought, "Ahh, it's gotta take a lot of energy to be gube... surely there's just one."  See what that other person/thing did to me?? I'm damaged for life.

Okay, sorry. Back to the depot... I just hope it's no one I know. I hate being disappointed in people... more than I can tell you. And this would be major. I know that's a terribly selfish thing to say, but it keeps coming to the forefront of my mind when the topic comes up, so I may as well be honest about it. I know how lame that sounds, trust me. But like I said, it keeps creeping into my mind when the subject comes up. Hopefully it will stop now that I've publicly admitted it.

I can't see why the suspects' names are being withheld.  Slap an "allegedly" in front of the charge and let us know who they are.  If it was a kid missing you know they would have no problem naming the person of interest.  No one is above the law,  it matters not if you are from an "old" Tehachapi family, or just moved here a day ago, or if you are the President of the United States.
