Contractor or Handyman?
I purchased a small 5'x4' shed online for my backyard. I need someone to build a level, simple wood-frame floor/foundation for it. It's not a permit-needed situation, so I don't need a licensed contractor or anything. I even have plans from the shed manufacturer on how to do it. I just don't have the power tools or extra set of hands needed to build it. I need some recommendations on someone who would be able to do a good job for a fair price. I'll only consider someone who is honest (by reputation and given references) and will do the work within a couple of weeks from now. Again, they don't have to be licensed or anything, just skilled and fair. 3 comments from 3 users

Haha, thanks Joty! The reason I specified that I didn't require a licensed contractor is because I know that, especially in an area like this, there are probably a lot of handy-man type guys needing extra cash. That doesn't mean I wouldn't thoroughly check them to protect myself, but times are a little tough and I wanted to give the opportunity. My dad's an architect and thas advised me many times on the best way to check up on just about anybody, licensed or "iffy." I appreciated the advice, though! Bot code: NAWZH heee posted by

Anyone know a good, reasonably-priced handyman? I need a few things fixed around the house that I can't do. TIA
