I go to this site:  http://www.earthquake.usgs....

It shows within moments of an earthquake all over the world.

http://quake.usgs.gov/recen...  you can go to this web site to get the latest info on earthquakes.  They're updated frequently at least every time there's a seismic event.  The latest quakes in the Lake Isabella area have been sourth about f 11-12 mi.  The quakes above 3.0 began with the jolt at 1:11 a.m. on 5/1/08  followed by  another 3.5 then yesterday evening at 9:03 by a 3.7 and at 9:23 p.m.  by a 3.3.   I felt all of them.  The USGS web site has a lot of info. about quakes.  There's a great deal of activity in Reno...and along the San Andreas south of San Bernardino.  Check it out

Yes, I felt one this afternoon... Then again tonight about 9:00.  My husband said he felt the one last night too, but I slept right through it.  My grandma lives in Weldon (near Lake Isabella) Bet she really felt them!

Go here for a list:  http://www.data.scec.org/re...

In case you didn't know, the ones we feel come from the Lake Isabella area.
