No more Brats?!

Ok, I just got back from the first Farmer's Market of the year (is the expansion permanent?  If so, go Tehachapi!).  I began a tradition last year of grabbing a Brat w/ saurkraut to take home for dinner from Kohnen's stand.  Oh sooooooo good!

I could NOT find the Kohnen's stand today, and I was upset.  Are they not going to be at the Farmer's Market anymore?  I miss my brats and have been looking forward to them for months!  The roasted corn was great, but it couldn't fill that hunger in the pit of my little (partly) German, Lutheran soul.

Anyone know what's going on?

[Also, does anyone know if it costs anything to set up a small table there?]

Ha, and here I thought this was going to be a blog about some obnoxious child you saw at the Farmer's Market!  (I was worried it may have been mine!)

Nah, I work with kids of all ages.  Haven't met a "brat" yet.   And all the kids at the Farmer's Market were just having fun and behaving themselves as far as I saw, lol.

Instead of going here. Why dont you try calling Kohnens and ask them directly? They might just have your answer!!!

Because it's not as fun.

Kohnen's was hosting the beer garden on the corner across from Railroad park, in the parking lot of the gas station.  Because of the alcohol fencing requirements, they were a bit hard to find today.  I understand that Colleen's booth will be moved next week to a more visable location.  I don't know about the brats, but I assume they were making them.  (And I had to laugh too.  I thought the thread was about bad kids.  LOL)

How did I not see that?!  Doh!

Christ,  I'm Austrian/German, and I too was baptized Lutheran as a child.  I pick up bread, pretzels and beverages at Kohnen's frequently.  My mom makes the best Brat w/ saurkrauts, so I have never tried one at Kohnens... I guess now I will have to.

I'm a bread person,  I even went out and bought a bread maker, but it doesn't come close to the baked goods at Kohnens.

lol...I thought this was going to be about the lawsuit between the makers of "Bratz" dolls and the makers of Barbie!

LOL Joty!  That's what I was thinking when I was typing the subject line: "I wish this were true about those stupid Bratz dolls..."  LOL
