Is there anyone that can help me figure out a composting system? I'm single, with a tiny yard, so it's not practical for me to have a huge 3 compartment bin that's 8' by 4' by 12', lol. What I'm looking for is something small and easy that will help me be a little greener and help my garden be its best. I'm going to keep looking for solutions online, but if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. So far, i've only found large property appropriate compost ideas.
I am going to be re-doing my tiny backyard. Currently in shambles, the small space will hopefully soon have a lovely bit of grass and a small veggie garden. I've purchase the Gardener's Bible, which will help me figure out what to plant. I just have one question: Which "zone" are we considered to be in here in Tehachapi? I hear there is a hiking group for Christians in town, with a name like "Hikers for Jesus" or something. Anyone have any info?
