That the volunteer thread is gone?? Why did you erase it Joty? I'm curious. All the unkind posts had been deleted by their authors.

I would like to say it once more that my hat is off to the SCVFD. They give of their time and thats a good thing. keep up the good work.

To Post...Or Not To Post! I never did agree with the TN giving people the ability to delete anything, even comments on their own blogs. The same is true with adopting the "anonymous" sign off. If people don't want to post their true names they can always adopt a "handle". The TN disagreed with me on both points. So, there!

It doesn't surprise me that like Sammy boy, Joty is a deleter.  So, all you have to do is not respond to their posts.  I'm thinking that Sam doesn't post as often as previously.  Maybe just wishful thinking.

In all honesty the whole thing kind of concerns me now.......I just want to know why she seemed to think that people that were talking about some of the requirements needed to be a volunteer were talking bad about SCVFD. I mean even she admitted that she thought they were getting "ahead" of themselves with the SCBA's and knew that the people to maintain them needed to be certified. Then when it started to get more in depth she erased the whole thread!! Why? I understand that some people had in fact made some unkind comments but they had been erased, and there were many people on there praising them.

Hey, and let's leave poor Lucy out of this.......that's my girl! lol

Well thanks for clearing that up Shane.  BTW  I don't hate anyone, and I'm sure it will take a lot more than some disagreements on a blog if it ever comes to that. :) Funny I never would have guessed you were a knitter Shane........you are just full of surprises! lol

Didn't you guys know that Lucy was a communist!  I guess it wasn't just her hair that was red!  Nyuk! Nyuk! That's why I prefer my own coiffeur...Bald is beauty-ful, whooop whooop! Maybe Shane can knit me a cap for the cold winter nights?  Size extra large, in red, white and blue so I can wear it city council meetings and everyone will finally know my true identity. I agree with hammer and I happen to be a founding member (one of three!) "morons and freethinkers" of America.  : 0

I don't blame you Shane or Joty for deleting the blog.  It seems that no one can post anything lately without it turning ugly with a bunch of nasty remarks and such.  Too bad.

Hey here's a good anti-spam text I had to type in "UPTOP"!

(Remember when this was fun?)
