Happy Halloween!

So what are your plans for the evening?  Are you doing anything? What are your lil' ones dressing up as?

I think the fam and I will go to the Trunk or Treat deal in town. Makes life a lot easier when you've got a bunch of young ones.  I've got a Sleeping Beauty, a bull rider(cowboy) and a cowboy this year. Speaking of......Does anyone know where you can get a metal gun? You know for a cowboy. I've looked for one and all I keep finding is "Nurf" looking stuff.

I don't think they sell "real" looking guns anymore, countygirl. Too many people got shot by cops because the fake guns looked real.

Have a great time tonight!

the 99 cent store in old town has air soft guns that look real and are cheap. They might have what your looking for. They keep the guns in the glass counter by the register.

I am planning on handing out candy, just don't tell my husband, haha!  He thinks I shouldn't since I'll be here alone with my son... but I don't think there will be any trouble.  I just wish he didn't have to work tonight :(  My son's going to be a cow.  I'll post a picture of him in his costume tomorrow if I remember.  He looks so funny in it!

Enjoy countygirl, and happy Halloween. My favorite holiday waiting for the Great Pumpkin.

My favorite holiday is still Thanksgiving!  No stress and a ton of food (guilt-free)!!  Sam, I have the funniest mental image of you sitting in a pumpkin patch, hiding in between the pumpkins, with a flashlight in hand, ready to spot the Great Pumpkin!

I love Halloween. It's my favorite holiday too. I live in Sand Canyon, there won't be any kids. I still decorated and bought candy for my husband and son...

And at midnight...when the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest, I'll think about all my loved ones who've gone on ahead.

Thanks madkow. Maybe I shouldn't admit I'd settle for Elvira.

I have one going as a Zombie, One as a mail carrier, and my my daughter is a girl vampire. We will also be going to the Trunk ot Treat in town. It just seems a little safer and none of this going door to door and walking miles.

Happy Halloween everyone, Stay safe

Happy Halloween Countygirl, et. al.
I hope to see you all at the Trunk orĀ  TreatĀ  on Green Street tonight!
The Tehachapi News will have plenty of treats for all the little princesses and cowboys, ghosts and goblins. We look forward to sharing some fun pictures with all of you tomorrow.
Halloween is my favorite holiday!
This year I'm doing my own homage to a more "mature" Elvira.

Joty i was watching a show called urban legends and they reported that the razor blade in the apples where that just a legend, It never happened. Also they reported that there has only been a few cases of candy poisoning and that family members were the ones that did it. So enjoy Halloween.

Ok Editor, but I hope Elvira doesn't get too mature. And the Great Pumpkin still remains my first choice. Maybe that says something about my "maturity."

Sam! The Great Pumpkin came just last night!!!!

Ok, that means I wasn't as good or sincere as I thought. Well, there's still Elvira.
