I suppose it's moments like these........
That makes paying an extra $1800 a year and the HOA of Bear Valley worth while. I am sitting here trying to cool down my house by opening my windows and letting the air in. I'm using a box fan to help things along. I am suffocating! My lovely neighbors are running a tractor next door( yes, at 10pm in the dark) and my house now smells like exhaust. Seriously, who does that? I can hardly breath, and now I can't even cool down my house! Ahhhhhh, I'll end my rant now! 8 comments from 8 users

Eww, not only disgusting, but dangerous as well! I almost choked on exhaust fumes a few times- it's no good. And I thought I had it bad a few weeks ago when the neighbors were blasting the "womp womp" music late at night :) (I really have no idea of the proper name for "womp womp" music. Everyone I know just calls it that. Something like mariachi, maybe.) I can't complain much though. If I'm in a good mood, I'll play dance music well into the night! posted by

Breathing tractor exhaust fumes... not good. Ick! But where can we go for a breath of fresh air while California is burning? The smoke in our usually pristine mountain air is pretty bad... will be glad when fire season is over. posted by

I hear that ragmop...I have asthma, and have been having to pretty much stay indoors which I do not like at all...it (nasty air) hasn't seemed to aggravate it too much, but I'm not going to chance it. It has made for some gorgeous sunsets though... posted by

i had been tempted to live in bvs 17 years ago when i moved to tehachapi , but i have a problem with ccrs, i think they were to stringent . although tractors past 8pm is a nusiance and you have recorse , but of corse this is kern co and it depends on who is using the tractor , maybe its some one with clout . posted by

Instead of slamming the sliding glass door did you try to nicely ask the operator of the tractor to please stop tractoring...........Sometimes you can attract more bee's with honey not vinegar.................Seriously If It was after 10:00 PM I would have been pissed too..........
