House Burn Photos

So I'm really bummed that the paper only had one photo of the house burn on the front page this week. I didn't see anything online so I thought I'd post what I had for anyone who wanted to see. :) WARNING- The pics are really bad. I was using a crappy throw away camera. So I apologize in advance for the graininess of the pics.

Not bad for a "throw-away"...it still makes me sad when an old building is destroyed, especially a house. It must have been full of love once upon a time...

Anyway, thanks for sharing!

I know Joty, but they would have leveled it anyway. At least these guys got some valuable training out of it. :) It's so weird how bare it looks there now. :(

Too bad about the house.  I never like to see things get burned or torn down.  I always try to make it a point of taking pictures of buildings that look abandoned, cuz once it's gone, it's gone!  Like the old barn down on Cummings Valley Road.  I'm so glad I got some pictures of it before it collapsed.  Now I've got to get some more before and gets hauled away!

I kept driving by over the next few days and there were still parts on fire.  It made me giggle- where else do the firefighters just  leave something to smolder like that?  I like it here  :)  I would have stopped and watched the big event, but it seemed to last the whole day!

It is sad to see a house go up..... that was probably where some little one took their first steps...  My kids and I drove by and noticed it still smoldering and couldn't help but to take in a big sniff.   My middle son noticed the big sign..... future home of.....

kind of funny they couldn't let people grieve a little.

Gube, you were around there, you know you were, yes, over there! You drive me crazy, today I was w/ a friend, not even a blogger, & this guy was walking down the street, & my friend said to me... " Hey, there's Gube."  Whatever, totally made me laugh! If I don't have a clue what you look like, they surely don't.  Right......?
