The earthquake was centered in Chino Hills was registered as a 5.8 at 11:42 a,m. Seems so far for us to feel it.

It was felt in Las Vegas. 5.8 is a pretty significant jolt...that's the first real quake I've felt since we moved here two years ago!

USGS web site says 3.8 in the Pomona area.

Good source for future reference.  Also, they ask for input from all who felt it.

Whoa, Nelly.  There are cluster earthquakes happening and the latest was, indeed, 5.4 in Chino Hills.

I didn't feel a darn thing!  I'm so disappointed!  But all my sisters in LA felt it pretty good.  *jealous*

Okay, I don't know how to read a table of seismic events.  I was so wrong.  What I saw first was the initial report of the earthquake which was from Pomona.  Due to the distance from the epicenter, the intensity felt was that of a 3.8.  The closest report was Chino Hills which, due to being almost at the center, was a magnitude. 5.4.

Now, I have publically appologized for my stupidity.  Please forgive me.  I promise not to do it again.  Thank you.

I was there for the one that took out the old town of Tehachapi. First thing I think of now is the Isabella Dam. No doubt in my mind these are reminders the predicted Big One is going to hit any time.

Sam, I prefer to think these little ones are letting off pressure from the "big one."   :)
