countygirl - > Wake up Tehachapi !! -> St.Patrick's Day!
St.Patrick's Day!

So what are your plans for St. Patrick's Day? How many of you out there are Irish?  Are you going to eat corned beef and cabbage? Does anyone ACTUALLY like green beer? lol

I know I will definitely be eating corned beef, cabbage and potatoes. Yum! ( St. Malachy's will be cooking corned beef and cabbage meals from 4:00-7:00pm- Adults 8.00,Seniors 7.00, Kids under12-4.00 pick up or eat-in and enjoy some music with your meal.) Am I Irish? 50% blood, 100% heart. lol  No, I don't like green beer.

I say nay to green beer, corned beef or cooked cabbage! And yes, I'm part Irish, but I figure it's food like that that made them leave Ireland in the first place :o)

On the other hand, I'm all over Cinco de Mayo

I love Corned beef and cabbage.  Unfortunately I'm the only one in my family that does.  If I cook it either I'll have to eat it all by myself (and I don't need that much fat) or through it out after it goes bad : (  As for being Irish I am a proud Western European mutt.  I have a lttle of almost every country in western Europe in me.

Hey Trippy, I have a hard time believing you are not getting asked out. If that's true, you must have Photoshopped your pic!

I think Trippy is having fun with her camera!  Her pics are getting better all the time. Or is that the whole St. Paddy's green beer thing taking effect? JK :) The pics are great!  Keep 'em comin''!  A little background info before I tell you how we celebrate St. Paddy's.  See, my husband is Irish - loves his beer and I am Mexican - love my bean burritos!  Therefore, our St. Paddy's day consists of Green bean burritos and Tecate or Corona. Wait 'til you hear about our Cinco de Mayo  celebration!

For those that like to drink and dance on St Patricks day, Cityslickers will be a good spot tonight, McGuires is also a good place but for only those who like the rowdy irish crowd. I will be visiting both tonight. HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY TO ALL.
