Wouldn't it be cool if....

An extra hundred bucks came out of the ATM machine every once in awhile with a note saying, "because you've been extra good!"

Massive ammounts of chocolate was discovered to be the secret to youth, long-life and weight loss.

Politicians and DMV workers had to sing every word they say and skip whenever they leave their desks.

You could claim your pets as a tax deduction (assuming they're not "working" animals)

Everyone had to say your name, followed by "the most awesome."

"Paid Vacation" actually meant an all inclusive trip to somewhere you've always wanted to visit.

Now you try it...

Your teenage kids NEVER talked back to you...

Good blog Curly!  You prompted me to quote (in part) Mr. Tim McGraw in his song titled "Back When":

"Back When"

Don't you remember
The fizz in a pepper
Peanuts in a bottle
At ten, two and four
A fried bologna sandwich
With mayo and tomato
Sittin' round the table
Don't happen much anymore

We got too complicated
It's all way over-rated
I like the old and out-dated
Way of life

Back when a hoe was a hoe
Coke was a coke
And crack's what you were doing
When you were cracking jokes
Back when a screw was a screw
The wind was all that blew
And when you said I'm down with that
Well it meant you had the flu

I love my records
Black, shiny vinyl
Clicks and pops
And white noise
Man they sounded fine
I had my favorite stations
The ones that played them all
Country, soul and rock-and-roll
What happened to those times?

I'm readin' Street Slang For Dummies
Cause they put pop in my country
I want more for my money
The way it was back then

That song will definitely take the over 50 crowd down memory lane.  It was a little bumpy at times but that's what made it challenging.  Thanks for letting me share.

Thank you Kat - The most awesome! Nyuk nyuk!

Wouldn't it be cool if your boss had to call you "the most awesome" and back out of the room genuflecting while whistling a lively tune?

Or if you went to pay at WalMart, or Kmart, or the grocery store and they said, "Oh no, Kat-the most aweseom, your money is no good here!"  That would be most awesome!
