Why would a middle aged man who has to be at work early, be sitting up at 2am with a bottle of scotch, wondering how in the hell he got to where he is today?

By all means...my intent is not to slander the place I have been employed for many years.  My intent is for someone to see that there are concerns.  Not just my concerns  but several others who are employed and wish to stay employed.

I have thought endlessly on this subject matter and I am unable to face it head on.  Why??? Because it would probably cost me my job.  Anybody who works at Tehachapi Hospital knows that if you cause a wave...you might as well uh...wave good-bye.

I have seen so many things through the years and I believe that this is now far by the worst I have seen the morale at Tehachapi Hospital.  Patient Care has always been my main concern.  I'm not so sure that its the main concern for Administration or the Board of Directors.

We have an Administrator who seems a little "apathetic" to his team players.  We have a CFO who is more concerned with..well we all know what he is concerned with.  We seem to have a person, "gender unmentioned" who thinks they are the Administrator.  And there are several people who think the same as I do.

I think it's time for our wonderful board to take some employees to the side.  Get their opinions of what they've seen, what they have heard and what they have experienced lately at tvhd.  It ain't good.

There are alot of great employees at Tehachapi Hospital.  Don't get me wrong.  I'm not speaking of those people.  I'm speaking of the people who are supposedly controlling and keeping with our core values and mission statement.

Speaking out loud on this subject is not a wise thing to do, that I can guarantee.

C'mon Dr Conklin, Dr Horowitz, Dr Hall, Dr Olsen, and Mr Steele.  Find out who's in control of our Hospital?  I could go on and on about what I've seen with my own eyes.  It's repulsive.

Take out a totally anonymous survey of every manager, supervisor, and employee and see what you come up with.  Totally anonymous, that's the only way you will get the truth out of people who don't want to start driving down the mountain to work.
