Yes,  the Baker News is airing an update at 5PM on Channel 29. My wife just called and told me.

I just looked at the www.kget.com website, under the article is a comment I found interesting.  Did anyone else see it?  Sounds a little familiar.

Please don't copy and paste that comment on here or they will delete us!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the the Reed/Beckam story, right below it is a comment.  Maybe I'm a little behind on my days...I just woke up again.  I hate working nights..I'm soooo confused. 

Yeah, I'd seen that... also part of what made me so mad at that particular person.

Who is this SherrifJRS?  Why would he make that last statement in his comment?  Sounds to me like he did accuse.  Was that a comment that originally for TN, or was it copied to here from KGET?

Girl, you are behind! It's one of the identities adopted by our friend with multiper personality disorder. I think it was dk who has emails from that same ID that come from our pal's same IP address.

We both read that as an attempt to make it look like the man behind the ID was our old Sheriff John Smith. Soooo not cool. This is another one of the little items that added to my anger toward this person.

Olivia we cant talk about who it is!!!  We will get deleted. This is a fake profile per retired Sheriff John R. Smith. We all know who it is ( The Honorable SB). We just can't say it or he will call the paper and have us deleted again. I have talked to Mr. Smith about this fake profile and he was NOT happy. I was told he signed the recall petition a few days later. Mr. Smith WAS a supporter of Stan Beckhams but he to has seen the light.

According to Tehachapi's Chief of Police Jeff Kermode, two unidentified minors have confessed to aiming bottle rockets at the historic Tehachapi Depot, causing the early morning fire that destroyed the future museum site on June 13. 

No arrests have been made at this time.  

More information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

You know, I'm going to be honest here.  My first thought on reading this was where were the parents?  Then I thought....probably sleeping.  I have 2 boys 14 and 12.....it's summer vacation, they stay up and watch tv...thank goodness we live out in GH and not in town.  This could easily have been my boys.  Not sure of the intent, but sometimes along with young boys come terrible accidents.  My brother set our barn on fire when he was younger. 

I have already called my son in to see this article and told him that this why I'm on his case so much.  These things happen and I want him to understand even if it's an accident....it can be prevented if he just follows the rules I set down for him.  Good opportunity to lecture.  I'd hate to be the parents of these boys.

Did you see the photo of the e-mail on the news vid? The e-mail was sent to the "Jim Richards group". I am asking myself this. Did Jim Richards provide all the e-mail addresses that this hateful email was sent to???? Why does Jim's name keep coming up in these e-mails???  Whats his involvement? Shane states in one of the above interviews he feels someone from Stan's IP address sent these e-mails to gain support for Jim. Did Jim know about these e-mails? Did he help with the planning of this?? I don't think so. I bet Jim was left in the dark about his name being used as well.
