Yaso not having family is not such a bad thing. You are in the enviable position of starting your own family tradition. Whatever you do now as your kids are growing up will become the tradition for future generations. What a great position to be in! Your kids will grow up talking about the games they used to play on Thanksgiving and probably laugh about how unrealistic those games used to be. Like we do now about Pong (if you are even old enough to remember that).

Unfortunatly i dont have a family to have thanksgiving with ( just my wonderful wife and 3 kids), and working in the hospitality business for 15 years i always had to work on thanksgiving, but with my friends we made it a tradition which is 12 years now to meet the day after thanksgiving. We usually have our friends come with thier familys and play video games or other things. We have about 40 people show up, this years highlight will be one of my best friends is editing a major motion picture horror film so we will get to see the rough cut, HOW FUN!!!!! Anyways i hope everyone has a great thanksgiving cuz i will the day after, among the other events we have a NERDY 16 man Halo frag fest on huge projectors (oh i cant wait).

Ours leans more towards Little House except not as "Leave it to Beaverish". Everybody looks forward to the get together. We have lots of laughing and carrying on and the conversation almost reminds me of a face to face blog where all topics are discussed...just like here. Then there's the football games! What the heck would we do without football on Thanksgiving and New Years Day? To me the food, although 2nd to none, is secondary to the time well wasted!

My family gatherings are nothing like Little House on the Prairie, I have a very diverse family,   And yes I am looking forward to it very much.
