We're curious what you think certain jobs and professions are really worth.  How much should  an  "entry level" position pay? Skilled labor, executive positions? How many local jobs offer pay comparable to more urban areas offering more choices?

Most will agree, it's tough to find a decent job in the Tehachapi area. Is it worth it? Do those of you who choose not to "commute" — either down the hill to Bakersfield or over it into LA County — pay the price, accepting considerably lower wages?

Do those of you who commute feel it pays off? If yes, what are the specific benefits?

So we want to know — what's it worth, to you?

Wait person, truck driver, receptionist, construction worker, cashier, accountant, graphic artist, executive assistant, plumber, sales manager, bank teller, baker, bus driver...
