My family just drive down the street to the end of Pinon St and watch the fireworks from there.

Jer, you must be really close to me.  I've walked down pinon with my dogs too many times to count.  (Ok, not being able to type the 'n' with the sqiggly over it is bothersome.)

Last year we watched the fireworks from somewhere off the Blvd, near a school (what school is that?).  I'm just sooooo excited that my hubby will be home this year, I don't care what we do!  :)  We'll probably hang out at the hotdog festival for a while, and definitely watch fireworks at night.  Probably the only time my son is still- when he's entranced by fireworks.  Oh, I hope he's a pyrotechnician when he grows up!  (And not a pyro...)

We'll watch the F.W. in the Chem Tool field,on Goodrich. Well I think it's @ the Coy football field? The squiggly is a " tilde". We have some family coming so we'll hang @ the house & walk to the festivities etc. Sounds like we might see each opther, any word on the cook, maj? I can't remember his name. AAHH, Im burnin' daylight!

ALAS this year I will be at work on the fouth of July.  Watching little blips on the RADAR.  Last year or the year before I went down and listened to the community orchestra, and it was a great time.  Would highly recommend that.  I do not like listening to music duirng firewroks though.  When I grew up the small Iowa town I lived in had a big shigdig for three nights. Dances at the park , a parade, etc. The culmination of the event was fireworks shot over a bend in the river.  My favorite memories are of the whistles, booms, bangs and crackles, accomapnied by the oohs and ahhs of the town.

We'll be knee deep in 4th of July activities in Bear Valley... hot air balloons, parade, pancake breakfast, food & craft booths and music at Cub Lake, etc.    It's a fun event for the BV community every year.   Might drive into town for fireworks when it gets dark, no fireworks allowed out here and I'm OK with that.

Hey Ragmop- You might run into my dad at the BV festivities! If he's there he'll be working in the K of C tri-tip booth! Good lookin' fella! :)

OK, countygirl, I'll look for the ONE good lookin' guy at the Tri-Tip booth...lol   Their sandwiches are great... last year I 'wore' one on my shirt after it dripped all over me but it tasted fabulous!    This year I plan to be more careful with my eating habits.. lol       Happy Fourth of July to everyone!

We will be in BVS hanging with my brother and his family. His grandkids are in the parade, but I ain't going over there that early.

Don't care for fireworks, so will probably be at home in bed - hopefully making our own...  :O

Have a safe and sane holiday everyone! Happy Birthday America!!!

Well my Independence Day will be celebrated with a slightly different slant if you know what I mean.

I’m going out to take pictures.
