Yes Job you mentioned to me about your daughter, and I am glad to hear she is doing so well now. My oldest son (16) also has Spina Bifida ( occulta) but luckily only one surgery at the age of 4, and he is doing well also, just has some nerve damage which has caused some loss of his bowels/bladder.

That's a wonderful poem. Thanks for sharing.

I don't think I shared with you that my 25 YO daughter was born with Spina Bifida. She has had over 30 operations and has been in and out of the hospital more than twice that. I almost lost her about 2 years ago at Cedar Sinai on the operating table. The doctor said if she had not been in the operating room, she would have died anywhere else. Yes it takes special parents to take care of special kids. It is only through my faith in God that I could face those challenges. In spite of all that, she is doing well and lives in her apartment. She will be getting married soon.
