Missing Girl
Lastnite on the 6o'clock news there was a report of a missing 14 year old girl from California City. I looked on that channels website and there is no update information. I turned on the News at noon and watched the entire half hour and nothing was mentioned. Did I imagine this? Did they find her? I hope they do find her and find her safe, and I will keep praying that she is found safe. If anyone has any updates please respond. I will not depend on the News channel or their website for any information.. 5 comments from 3 users

As far as I know she is still missing and foul play is suspected. She has been missing since Monday, when she got off the bus at 3:30pm in front of the Cal City market. Her family's home was also vandelized on Monday. The girl had been beat up at school and the family was pressing charges. I hope they find her safely also... I saw the story Tues morning on the channel 23 website, yet they didn't get a picture of her on there until today - so hopefully someone will see it and recognize her.

Here is the story from the link Sunshine posted: CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. -- The FBI and California City Police searched the home Monday of a man who is the uncle of a missing teenager, according to the FBI. A young girl's body was found Sunday near the uncle's residence. Authorities have not positively identified the body.
Jameesha Terry, 14, has been missing for two weeks. She was last seen getting off a school bus in front of the California City Market. Police are requesting Jameesha's dental records to help identify the body. An autopsy will be performed tomorrow.
Authorities are looking for the uncle, who neighbors said has not been seen for several days. posted by

Thanks Sparks and Sunshine for the information. I did get to see it on the News lastnite. What a terrible ending for this girl, I was praying that they would of found her alive and well. Now I will pray for her family and pray that they find whoever did this to her and they get the justice this girl deserves.

Sadly it has been confirmed today that the body found in California City is that of Jameesha Terry. Now her family can lay her to rest and seek justice for whoever committed this crime. My prayer's are with her family and friends, may God give them the strength to get through this tragedy.
